I just bought a brand new pop up camper. Last weekend when we took it out for July 4th weekend we tried to use the RVQ grill. On the high setting the best we could get was a flame 1/8th of an inch high. It barley was able to cook the brats after an hour and several times of relighting because the slightest wind would knock the flame out. Last night we raised the camper and I wanted to try the furnace. What was happening is the fan would turn on, the pilot will kick on for 3 to 5 seconds and die out... then 10 seconds or so later it will try to fire up again. It will start up and only run from 1 to 3 seconds. I guess my question is could this be the regulator or something else. I know I could bring it back to the dealership but they are just under 2 hours away and the local dealership won't work on it because I didn't get it from them. When I took the front cap off the regulator it was cranked all the way open. I left it open, half way, and all the way loose and there isn't a difference. moreOpen Question: Do you like cooking with propane or charcoal better?

I have a landlord that has all utilities in his name, and my rent is a flat fee where everything is included. In November we hooked a propane gas grill cylinder to the house (outside), and that was disconnected last week due to it being unsafe (because he decided to become vindictive). We moved the propane tank and attached it to the "pig" (the 500 lb. tank in the yard) the other day and he has that disconnected as well. The first time he unhooked it to the house was Friday (July2, 2010) and then he was here Tuesday (July 6, 2010) to unhook it from the yard. He has neglected my family of hot water (so there are five of us, including three children who cannot take showers), and now I am wondering what I can do. There is no lease here (my boyfriend and his children have been living here for three years, and my son and I have been here a year), and so there is nothing that states it is our responsibility to fill the "pig", and it is something he has done in the past. We have been paying rent in cash (for the last three years) because he refuses to take any other form of payment, for the fact that he doesn't want there to be a paper trail. He is now trying to say (which states in the paperwork that was delivered last night) that we are behind in rent, meanwhile we are never late and he gets his $200 every Friday. (My boyfriend had a "manly agreement with him two years before I came along, and paying with cash is something they agreed upon.) The landlord gave us the option to get propane in the big tank, but we didn't have the money Tuesday and explained that we could do it on Friday, and he had the lines cut and stated they would be replaced on Friday. He wants $182 to put 100 gallons of propane in the tank (which is the minimum the company will do) so that he will have some in there once we have vacated. I absolutely refuse to help him in any way, therefore, we have been showering at a friends house. I have since decided that we will not be giving him any other monies for rent, especially since last night we got served (by him and his wife) with papers to vacate the premises (not eviction papers) by July 31, 2010 (which is not even a 30 day notice). My questions are: Can he neglect our family of hot water (even if for three days)? Do I have to pay him rent for the next three weeks, or until we are out? Thank You to all that respond to help me! P.S. I live in the state of Michigan. moreResolved Question: Propane on BBQ used super fast?
I have a 2 burner Charbroil BBQ I have only had for about a month and grilled on it about 8 times average of 35min each time and already gone through 2 tanks of gas. I know propane goes further then this and Know! << I am not leaking gas or leaving the tank on. A couple nights ago it looked like the propane was empty then earlier today i fired it up and i had great flame and the gauge read full propane tonight i was going to grill and i got very small to no flame and the gauge read empty again i didn't leave the tank on. Can anyone tell me what can cause the propane to burn through this fast? Could i have a bad tank? What can cause this flux in power/ pressure? should i look into a better gas provider? I have no idea what im asking i just want my gas to go further Actually when I got the tank the tank It only looked 70% on the gauge I did do a tank swap at Walmart. I didn't check for leaks with soap but i did pressurize the lines (turning the tank on leaving it off at grill) and the gauge goes to full putting my nose up next to it and try to smell some gas for about a min and didn't. I would still think that the gas would last longer even if not filled to capacity... i mean this is a 2 burner grill right.. its a 20lb tank soap water revealed no leaks I soaped up all connections as well .... I am trying to make a homemade furnace, so far i have decided to use a propane blow torch (hopefully thats hot enough for aluminium) as my heat source. I'll use a steel can as my crucible and flower pot coated with some insulation for my refractory. But i don't know what a good insulator is, i have fibreglass, cement stuff (haven't really given it a good look), dirt and sand. I'd prefer using the cheapest insulator even if it takes longer time to start melting. My concerns are that the insulator won't be strong enough or that my blow torch won't get hot enough. moreOpen Question: How far away do I need to be to shoot a propane tank?

Propane Guy, DO NOT ANSWER. Thanks, but you've answered my last 2 questions, well, without any answers, just your opinion, which I have already heard and dont need again. I would like to know the name of the type of generator that can run 24/7. Propane, if that exists. AS IS WITH MOST AMERICANS... My electrical output is about 2-3kW. I dont heat with electric or cook with it. This means I need a generator that puts this out at Half Load, which would be 4 - 8 kW peak. I see millions of portable and back up generators, but I am looking for a propane generator designated to be the primary power source. Can anyone give me a name, or a link? Thank you ahead of time. :) 2 or 3 kW should do it. Don't need to know if this will be the cheapest, or most economical solution. My cabin is way out there, i can get Propane delivered, will buy a 500 gal tank or 2. I want to run the cabins full elect needs for the 6 weeks I am there, and want to use the same fuel i will use for heating and cooking. Thanks Jakeb but those look like back ups to me. Are main power source generaters called something specific? OMG, Propane Guy, you might know Propane but you dont know electric loads at all. And check the question again, i specifically asked you not to answer unless you have an answer, which you do not. At all. Can a home be powered permanently by a natural gas (or propane) generator? We use about 2kW an hour on average to run everything and heat and cool. Thanks for the attempt but does anyone have experience? These answers aren't really very accurite, lol. After all, it would burn through a 500 gal (largest they make?) propane tank in a SHORT weekend running a 20kW generator, lol, yet you said its done? 2kW is a fine estimate, actually, its sorta WAY over what a person uses, Its actually what we've been usuing for years. I can tell you both live in the south where the infrastructure rarely allows for Natural gas to heat homes, and water, and you're forced to use the inefficiant elecrtic. But, if I am going to use natural gas to produce electriucty, i obviously WOULD NEVER use electric to heat with. So I would only use electric for what you should use electric for, which means 2kW would fuel 50 flourescent light bulbs, or 20 light bulbs, 2 PCs, 2 TV's and a fridge + occasional appliances surges ( ALL generators have 2 listings, normal pull and surge) moreVoting Question: Need advice for a grill for my condo?

All of the food is pink inside and im afraid to eat it. The beef I don't mind, but the chicken was pink and spongy inside and he said it comes out that way. I have seen aimbot videos for MW2 on youtube, but I have not seen any for anyone using the 360. Does the 360 have an aimbot designed? I was playing search and destroy for a while and one guy, I saw in the kill cam on scrapyard, was just standing in a corner of the plane facing a wall. He shot through the plane and into the building behind the two propane tanks and took me out. I was not shooting or anything and there was no UAV up... I didn't think much of it but then in the next round he shot through a barrier and into another house killing another guy who was just sitting there... I don't think there is another way to describe that besides aimbot? He is not the only one I noticed today either... there seemed to be a few people doing it. From what I can see, PS3 is not any better as there is more hacks on youtube for PS3 than the 360, so it must be easier to obtain one. CoD does not blow... People who cheat do. She says I always go overboard when I drink and come up with stupid stuff, and she is sure my idea to save money by making homemade fireworks is a dumb one. She got all embarrassed last night because the neighbours were out in the street, shooting off some fireworks early, and I got all excited and in the holiday spirit and tackled making my homemade fireworks with zest. She was in the kitchen washing the dinner dishes, and she heard me singing "My Country 'Tis Of Thee", although I always get confused and substitute the words to "God Save The Queen", and she suspected I was drunk. Well, she caused a big scene by dragging me inside, just when I was getting the fuses attached to the propane tanks, and it hurt my feelings that she would do that in front of the neighbours. She claims I was making a spectacle of myself, but I was just feeling festive, and was dressed appropriately, wearing my star-spangled boxer shorts, cowboy boots, and a paper uncle sam hat I had bought. I looked the perfect American. Anyway, she dragged me inside and scolded me. Now, I most likely was drunk, but I can't say for certain, as it's hard to think with such a terrible hangover, but I am just trying to enjoy the holiday. Why does she have to ruin all of my fun??? So, I am banned from bringing my homemade fireworks to the picnic with her family we will be attending, and she also has hidden my car keys so I can't get beer today. She said I am to behave until we go to the picnic, and that there I am allowed to have only two beers. Why is she being so mean to me?! Ions are electrically charged particles that are formed when certain compounds are dissolved in water. These solutions will conduct electricity. The Swedish scientist Svante Arrhenius coined the term ion (which means wanderer) to explain why solutions of electrolytes will conduct an electric current. When an electrolyte forms into a solution, it dissolves or dissociates into ions, a process called ionization. If a substance does not ionize, it will not conduct an electric current. Electrolytes include most acids, bases, and salts. Some conductors include hydrogen and sodium chloride, copper sulfate, and potassium nitrate. Substances that are not electrolytes include distilled water, sugar water, and most organic compounds. Which of the following is a nonelectrolyte? "Having a transportable gas BBQ starts the revolution of barbecue enjoyment. Owning a barbecue can be the highlight of any summer time evening, but imagine the advantage it will make if you're utilizing your transportable gas BBQ on your favorite beach front!Barbecues are generally connected with large heavy items that get taken out of storage each summer time and sit in your back garden. Some are even built of brick that turn out to be permanent attributes in the back garden all year round. Igniting it has always been a fantastic excuse for a party, with plenty of foods and drink, but it limits you to your back garden only. Portable gas barbecues change all that.
Let's imagine the scenario. It's a sunny, hot afternoon. You're on the seashore with your good friends or loved ones and a great time is getting had by all. Usually this type of function would happen in your back garden, but these days can be diverse. These days you have a portable barbecue that allows you to have lot's of fun in 1 of your favorite areas. You have a beer in your hand and hamburgers cooking on the grill, you have the sun, sand and crashing of the surf. What else could you possibly want? It's a recipe for that ideal summer's evening.
The seaside is just a single example of where you can use your convenient gas bbq. You can perhaps take it hiking, on picnics and days out, or even on the balcony of your apartment. Why let the fact that you have no back garden stop you from getting barbecue enjoyment? Your choices are endless, but the primary point is, you're not restricted to just 1 place.
The secret is the simple fact that the body of the barbecue is small, but the size of the grill isn't. The main frame is compact, with extendable legs to elevate it above the floor and extendable side shelves to give you that added room whilst the grill remains the size of any bigger barbecue. This enables you to cook the similar amount of meals on a 1 burner grill that creates immediate heat. And you can use it anyplace, either directly on the floor, on a hiking table, or even just your standard back garden table.
As typical, transportable barbecues arrive in various styles and sizes depending on the brand. A few examples of distinct makes are Weber, Royal and Campingaz. But no bother what transportable barbecue you decide to go for, you will nevertheless be guaranteed that exact same great barbecue enjoyment no bother where you elect to be."
