moreResolved Question: Opinion on the beginning of my story about a teenage stripper?
PRETTY ON THE INSIDE
I was aware of my underwear being slightly dirty and slightly too loose. I wondered if I could pin it discreetly in the back to keep it up and if it would look weird. I was self conscious of the pink and white patterns, patches of feminine polka dots, plaid, and stripes, that loosely patched together to form this lingerie. No. Not lingerie. Lingerie was a word too sophisticated for what I was wearing. It implied beautiful, sexy girls in lace, who could speak French and kiss well. Long legs and lipstick. I, on the other hand, speak a half-assed Spanish and and am slightly stubby. I have had few boyfriends and lipstick only adds attention to my yellow teeth. I was not wearing any lingerie. No. The patterns that loomed and wove themselves self between my legs instead brought another word to mind. Panties. Panties evoked images of sluts who strip to pay rent and sleep with married men. And I was, indead, wearing panties. They were too thin in some places, too thick in others. Worn from wear. They looked childish, girly, young on my adolescent legs. Vulnerable. I wondered how many people were paying to see me to look exactly like that. Creeps in the audience, disgusted and pleased at the same time to the pleasant surprise of their own b0ner to a teenager. A virtual child. I might have hated my job, but I was can't deny that I'm good at it. I felt my panties sag in the back and pulled them up a bit, my shaky fingers slipping on the silky fabric, struggling to make them stay in the desired position. Not sagging around my @ss, high on my hips. My mom bought them for me about a year and a half ago, expecting them to only be worn under jeans, only to be worn when my cuter underwear was in the wash. She never intended it to be worn like this. But here I was. In panties. Behind the curtain, a small veil shielding me from perverts, distancing me only feet away from their penises and grime. I was so many worlds closer to them then I wanted to be. The curtain was lifted, and I was greeted with yells and bright light. Slut. Whore. Strip. The abuse was my applause. It meant I was doing it right. I shook my skinny, teenage hips a little and tried to vacate my mind, lend it to their vacuum souls. My panties came off with a smile.

moreResolved Question: What do you think about high-waisted skirts? Pics?
I work for a retail company and we make a lot of high-waisted skirts. (I can get them very inexpensive these are high-end lined wool skirts that run for 50-80 dollars or more and I can buy them for $15 dollars each).
http://www.millionlooks.com/images/high-waist-plaid-skirt.jpg
I tried on a few and found 2 or 3 with fabrics I liked.
I'm just not sure about the high-waisted look tho. I'm a business student, I'm 20 years old, fit, a little curvy, and Petite. The skirts I liked all had a pattern or colors going on so I would probably wear a solid colored top tucked in and jewelry, maybe black leggings and black shoes or boots with them. The skirts come down to just below my knee- altho one I would probably shorten to just above the knee because its a heavier fabric.
My questions are...
1) Is the high-waisted look ugly/ old fashioned?
2) Do high-waisted skirts look good on someone who is petite?
3) When would they be appropriate to wear?
moreVoting Question: Shoes for teenage guys?
I usually wear flip flops alot. I wear the leather, fabric, and rubber ones. I usually where them from March to November. When it's too cold, I usually wear Sperry Top Siders. I get really bored of just wearing them every day then. I get called gay sometimes for wearing flip flops so much, but I don't really care. I would like to get some Nikes too, but I wouldn't wear them often. So I want some more shoes other than just Sperrys and Nikes. I usually only wear Abercrombie & Fitch, but I'm trying to get into preppier brands such as Lacoste and Polo as well. I like to dress well, too. I usually don't wear tee shirts except in the summer, especially since the look good with shorts and flip flops.
Assuming I go out every day of the week (this is in late fall/winter), I wear a striped or plaid button down twice, a polo shirt three times, a sweater once, and a tee shirt twice. My problem with getting some Nikes is that I'm used to flip flops and preppier shoes so I feel like I can't go away from them. I used to wear them every day like every other guy (except the summer), but that really disgusts me now. My sister said it was fine to get some but I don't know. I'm going into high school, and almost every guy in middle school did this. A lot of the guys at the high school did this. I don't think it's that bad if you don't wear them every day.
Please no stupid or hurtful answers :)
Sorry it's so long.
I would prefer answers from girls that like guys that dress pretty good and guys that dress pretty good. :)

moreResolved Question: Hard time finding clothes I like?
(I apologize for the amount of text, didn't realize how much I wrote)
Well I was at the mall yesterday for about 3-4ish hours, and I didn't buy a single item of clothing.
My mom was telling me I wasn't trying hard enough, but I honestly didn't see anything that caught my eye. She picked out these pants for me, but I hated the fabric. She picked out a top for me, too flowy. She picked out a pair of low heels, too tight/uncomfortable.
I really don't know whats wrong with me. I go shopping around every 3 months now, because my friends/mom hate shopping with me since I never buy anything.
It's getting warmer though, so I really do need some summer clothes. I'm going back Sunday to a different mall and hoping I'll have better luck. I'm not really girly, and tend to stray away from those flowy tops, skirts and SHORT SHORTS *shivers*
I wouldn't actually mind a colourful skirt with a pair of knee tights a leather jacket and a plain tee, but I can't find one ANYWHERE. I can't find a decent pair of cargo Capri's that fit me with my short legs, and every pair of shorts I see are short shorts. Everything is plaid now too, I mean, plaid is okay but only in moderation. I don't really have any options besides mall ATM.
So, I guess my question would be if you can help me find some clothes that I would like. Maybe make me an outfit on polyvore or recommend a store you think I might like, or even some a certain type/style of clothing I should keep my eyes open for?
Really, anything at this point would help. I'd just like to know I'm not the only one who can't seem to find the right clothes. Thanks in advance :)

However, my fiance watches gangland a lot, and he started getting me nervous I was going to get shot by some gang member for wearing a bandanna! So I'm just wondering, maybe I should wear a plaid one or something instead?
Also, what are the measurements of a standard bandanna? I might just find some fabric I like and cut one myself. Thanks.
moreResolved Question: What's up with the Gay thing being associated with Kilts?
When I read Kilt questions, many always talk about the gay factor. Why?
I am a Kilted guy, in Texas, and not Gay. I am married, and prefer boobs. I am not closeted, or even curious about being Gay. I do see myself a little on the kinky side, and always joke about having a threesome with other girls, but besides that, I am not that sexually crazy.
Then my wife has a number of gay friends from college. All hate the kilt. Think it's ghastly fashion from a weird time in history. I am also on number of forums with the Kilt, and most of the guys are straight there. In fact it seems to track the same way in society, always less than 10% who are gay are kilted, and most of those guys are Scottish. It would be very doubtful if that same gay guy in America would not be kilted.
Then there is that whole cross-dressing thing that gets brought up as well, but a man's kilt is nothing like a woman's skirt. For one there if nine times more fabric in the traditional versions. There are no prints of flowers or pastels. It's always dark plaids (tartan), blacks, and mustard brown colors. So the kilt is not worn the way a woman would wear her skirt.

moreResolved Question: If I wear this does it make me a bro?
I recently went to Ross and found a Metal Mulisha brand flannel shirt that is a really nice, thick fabric. It is a buffalo-plaid style shirt and I rarely come across good quality products for flannel shirts nowadays, seeing as they have suddenly come back into style with the scenesters and skaters.
Will I be labeled a bro for wearing this one piece of clothing? I will be wearing the flannel for functionality and quality only, not the brand. The shirt itself was $15 so that is why I am seriously considering buying it. If it was full price I would not even think about it.
The reason I ask the question is because I am by no means a "bro" nor do I wish to be labeled as one. I despise their lifestyle and I really don't think that label would fit my style. I mean, I drive a sedan, surf, and I don't really love MMA fighting all that much. All other products I wear tend to be just band shirts from concerts I've gone to or plain white or black shirts. I'm not in the "bro" scene, and I don't want everyone to think I'm some sort of half-assed baddass. The shirt is really nice though.
Let me know if you would label me as a bro if I wore it, and if so, let me know of any other places that might have flannel shirts with thick, nicely woven fabrics for cheaper prices. Thanks in advance.

moreResolved Question: Why are my friends rude and ignorant and always run me down?
Okay. Well, a lot of people run me down and these two are some of the people who do. My friends are named Sarah and Sam, who is also my cousin. I am going to give you examples of things that they did to me.
-I had dry skin on my face and I didn't know what it was for and Sarah walked up me and said, "What's wrong with your face!?"
-A couple weeks ago, I had on skinny jeans with holes in them, but they had fabric under the holes. So, it wasn't actually a hole. This is how the conversation went:
sarah: did you buy your jeans like that?
me: yeah?
sarah: i wouldn't never buy something like that.
There wasn't even that many holes in them either. Then a couple days later, Sammy comes to school with her jeans 75% ripped and she didn't even have fabric or anything under them. Sarah didn't say anything to Sammy about them.
-My hair was not combed out that much, but it was the end of the day. Sarah said to me in a digusted way,"Your hair is all puffy." Plus, my hair is also full.
-I had this nice outfit, a plaid shirt from Wal*Mart (it was made by Miley Cyrus, but it was really cute!!) and tight stretchy pants, and Sarah said to me, "No offense, but I don't like those pants."
-Today, I just got new glasses because my old ones broke. This is how Sammy and my conversation went:
me: do you like my glasses?
sammy: no.
me: why not?
sammy: because they look stupid.
me: why?
sammy: 'cause they do.
me: how?
sammy: they are too big and they too square-y.
I thought it was rude for her to say this to me. I would NEVER do something to them like that. My glasses fit my face just right. They weren't even too big or even close to being square.
-Both of them think that my lip gloss smells bad and they think it is too girly. Then today, Sammy asked me, "Why do you even wear that stuff?"
Then I said,"Don't you wear it?"
She said, "No, why should I?"
Are they jealous or what!?
Sorry that it's a little long.
Please give your personal opinion on all of these.

Sorry that it's a little long.
Please give your personal opinion on all of these.
Thanks.
moreVoting Question: What can I make out of...?
Out of my old bag? The leather strap broke off during school but I still want to make something out of it. The fabric is black and white buffalo plaid. And the inside is kind of this black mesh fabric?
What are some ideas? If you can please include pictures or steps! +10 to best answer.
moreVoting Question: Bleach-Like stain in shirt?!? How to Remove?!?
I have worn this grey plaid shirt only once. A few weeks ago I noticed a bleach like stain around on my shirt. It is like a brown discoloration. I have done a bit of research and found out that some people had the same problem. The cause was a mixture of your sweat and the deodorant that causes the reaction witht he fabric. But it was pretty weird that I have never ever had this problem with any shirt whatsoever.
I have used vinegar to try to remove the stain, but did not have much luck. Does anyone know how to remove these stains for good? The shirt is unwearable and don't have much options. I have also uploaded pics.

You see how there is no discoloaration in the white area, and it begins to get worse as it spreads to the darker grey area? Please help!
If theres is no way to remove the stain? Is there a way to cover it up? Or return the stain back to normal?
moreResolved Question: How can I safely wash my cushion covers and throw pillows on my furniture ?
My kids have knocked my throw pillows in the floor I don't know how many times and spilled drinks on them. They've spilled drinks on the cushion, and my puppy has had 2-3 accidents and peed on them.I soaked it up asap, and wiped it off.Except for the throw pillows, everything has a zipper,so you can take them off.I want to wash them, spray the cushions down with lysol, and frebreeze, while I have the covers off.I don't know if I should just pat at the stains, handwash them,or put them in the washer.I have thought about taking them to the laundry mat and put them in the huge front loader,so it would all fit.I figure I'd be better to hang dry them, and then toss them in the dryer with a bunch of fabric softener sheets just till hot,to soften them up,and help make them smell good.I'm afraid if I dry them in the dryer they'll shrink. Can anyone advise me here.Would this be ok,and what temp should I wash them on ? Its not leather,or micro fiber, its like a plaid.

My best friend's band is breaking up. They're having their last show this Saturday. My friends and I decided to decorate t-shirts for them. Each of us has the name of one of the band members on our shirt. My band member is very indie. I wanted to make his shirt really cool and different. Can anyone give me any cool ideas of what to do to the shirt. I have plaid fabric because he loves wearing plaid, I have glitter glue, scissors (obviously). Let me know if you have any cool ideas. I want him to be impressed! Thank you!

Paris menswear fashion show trends
Designers sang the blues, went tripping and got a little shaggy. But there were some noteworthy trends that rippled ...
