Voting Question: Breathing problems only 9 1/2 weeks, three different diagnoses, please help (long story)?

I'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant with my second baby and for about 2 months I've been having trouble breathing. I have to frequently take deep breaths and sometimes after taking several, I still do not feel like I got the refreshing breath of air I needed. I visited my family doctor and discussed the problems I was having. She mentioned that it could be Asthma or even allergies. She gave me a prescription for the generic form of Claritin (for the allergies) and told me to check with my OB about taking a Pulmonary Function Test (due to use of an inhaler during the test). My OB gave the go ahead and I took the test today. I'm really frustrated with how things went and I need some advice on what to do. First of all, she told me that the results of the PFT were inaccurate and explains that it is usually due to the lack of "coaching" from the test administrator (nurse). Then she goes on to say that she was able to get some results from the test and that I have Asthma. After telling me she is going to write me a prescription for an inhaler, I told her that I did not feel any better after taking the inhaler during the test. I asked if the prescription would be for the same thing, and she said it was. Then she goes on to say that if the inhaler didn't work I must be suffering from anxiety and tells me she is going to write me a prescription for Wellbutrin (but wants me to check with my OB on that one too). Now this one boggles my mind. I told her that I didn't really understand what anxiety was. As she was explaining it to me she started talking about how there is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of (okay???) and how stress can have this affect on people. Now let me tell you, I am probably one of the least stressed people in this world and I feel very blessed to have it that way. And, even when I am stressed I feel that I handle it very well. On top of that I'm a pretty easy going happy-go-lucky type of person. I am a stay at home mom with a 20 month old daughter and I have a pretty laid back life. If anything I would say that it's more boring than anything lol. Yes, I have one on the way, but I feel way more comfortable with this one having went through it before than I did with my first baby. I have a stable life and a great husband (most of the time lol) that loves me more than anyone in the world. I just don't understand where the anxiety would come in. To sum it all up I have a prescription for Claritin because the allergies are causing these problems (which she told me to continue taking but IMO hasn't made a difference), I have a prescription for an inhaler because it's Asthma that is causing these problems and now she wants to write me a script for Wellbutrin because it must be anxiety. I am the type of person that takes medicine as a last resort. I just don't like to do it especially during pregnancy. On top of that I put doctors in the same category as mechanics, I don't mean any disrespect but I just have a hard time trusting them. It seems like she gave me a prescription for everything it COULD be. But has no clue what it actually is. I don't know what to do. I'm probably not going to take the Wellbutrin though. From what I read online it's mainly prescribed for depression and to help stop smoking. I don't think pregnancy is the time to start taking a serious drug like this. I'll probably stop taking the Claritin because it seems to have made no difference. What do I do? How can I get to the bottom of my problem? Has anything like this happened to you? P.S. I know this is in the wrong section but I like the answers I get in this section the best. TIA more

Voting Question: what do you think about art majors and art school in general? is it lame?

There are actually very few people out there who can "draw" and devote there lives to art. Art is actually in the business of communication, and you seem to be in the mindset that "art is for art's sake" Lets start off with drawing. Drawing is the absolute foundation of art, and your sketchbook is much more than a bunch of pretty pictures; it's a collection of thoughts, ideas, drafts, observations, moments, etc. Film is art, too btw, so have fun in your world without any videos, tv, or movies whatsoever. When you shoot a movie, a director most likely graduated from art school or hires artists to plan the movie. Here's where the sketchbook comes in. Do you think movies are born from nothing, but a script? There are storyboards and plus you don't just learn art techniques in art school, you learn how to think and grow with your own ideas. They story and script come from a concept and that concept is what you have to defend for in the art world. Moving on to things I'm more familiar about. Animation is a hybrid between all art forms. There's drawing in hand-drawn animations and in Flash animations. Claymations, and stop-motions are pretty self-explanatory. Here you say "with the computer nowadays you know. no body really needs you to draw anything precisely". That's bull. There's no computer that draws things out for you! Did you see Avatar? That was a movie ten years in the making almost entirely by human hands at computers. Granted, there were actors, but there images were overlaid and CGed as a base. Animation is Is the crossroads between tradition art and digital media and all your cartoons, advertisements, informercials, hell even sports games have animations on them. You know hen you see the scoreboard appear out of nowhere and then when you see reviews and stats on your favorite players? That's animation. Graphic Design is something you'd probably wouldn't be able to live without unless you decided to camp ut in the middle of nowhere. Nearly all advertising on billboards, online, on tv,on everything you own, Coke cans; that is all Graphic Design. Hell, Gaia wouldn't exist without Graphic Design. Every logo, image, everything in your room, is a product of Graphic Design. (Except for your furniture, that was from Industrial Design which is still an artform you couldn't live without.) Think about every logo you know, it from Graphic Design, and again, they know how to draw more

What I'm NOT talking about is using services like Pandora, Playlist.com, or a Youtube playlist embedded in the page. What I AM talking about, is the ability to specify songs by url that play in the player, with a feature for randomizing the music, while at the same time having the ability to "go live" from my computer and interupt the music, and broadcast voice during the live session. So basically, music all the time, until I broadcast and it overrides the station. No playlists, no bs commercials, just a nice radio script or online service. I've seen it done. I have an audition with Disney Cruise Lines next week to serve as an Entertainment Host for guests. I passed the phone interview and will do the audition with other candidates in front of the Disney Recruiting team. I have tons of guest experience, media experience and 2 excellent reference letters. I am comfortable with the scripted material for the audition but there is ONE part that I cannot do: The dancing. They want us to do the Hoedown Throwdown/Hannah Montana dance in front of the panel, dancing with the other audition candidates. And then on top of this we're expected to teach a 30-second portion of the dance to the group as if they're Disney Cruise Line guests. The clip is available online, but I tried learning the moves and can't. They're too fast and its hard to learn them when the people teaching you on screen say "move left" and it looks like they're moving right. The Disney Recruiters did tell us not to worry about being professional dancers, and to just have fun and smile, but come on! If I mess this up, I'm worried they will pass on me to join they're team at sea. I'm willing to learn if someone can teach me, but this seems impossible. What are your thoughts? Are Disney recruiters lenient on this sort of thing? Please, any advice will be much appreciated. more

Resolved Question: why can't i delete/edit a song on itunes? mac user?

So I have several songs I downloaded from online and such, and they're obviously of dubious copyright origin. But other songs I got with them work fine, as in when I want to edit/delete it, it works. With these songs, I've tried clicking it after highlitghitng it, pressing ctrl+delete, and all other possible things. I remember this happened to be way before with locked pictures. I used the mac version of command, and ran a script off of the internet and deleted the pics that way. How do I edit/delete these awful songs??!?! The area just gets greyed out and its really frustrating. PLEASE HELP!!!! more

We had saved a kitty from a shelter right before we moved to a new house that had dogs in it and they had "marked"the floor everywhere. after many steamings and cleaners, it still bothers the kitty. he is very very stressed. he pees out of his litterbox and i know it is b/c he is so stressed. i have a two year old that is very loud and he hides alot and i can just tell he is very uncomfortable here. I read online and i do know ppl that vets have prescribed paxil, xanax, and other stuff for very stressed cats. I did buy him a collar today that has pheramones in it, and it seems to be already working VERY well. My ? is this. I have a script for myself of xanax. it is .5 and from what i read on the internet the dose for a cat would be .125 with is like 1/4 of my pill. I just want him to be comfortable and relaxed so he can enjoy the new life he has and know he is past the abuse he had to endure before he ended up abandoned at the shelter. Ive read on some of these answers "no dont give ur cat xanax, it will kill it" well thats crap otherwise the vet wouldnt prescibe it for behavior problems and stress in cats. SO...if you are a vet or a tech im asking, can I save an office visit, and if the collar stops working and he doesnt come out of hiding and keeps being so stressed..can i give him 1/4 of my peach .5 xanax a day just for awhile to help him calm down and get used to the new envirnment?? i love my cat and my bf is ready to get rid of him for his antisocial behavior, he hides all day, runs from us, and pees in places b/c the dogs that used to live her. he is VERY stressed. i just want to help him and not have him abandoned ANOTHER time in his life. plz help me :) first of all, thank you for the supportive and helpful answers. to the man that said i am not capable of taking care of any living thing and called me an idiot.well i reported you...and fyi in fact i am VERY capable.
