Resolved Question: New Razr v3 phonebook not showing SIM numbers?
I just bought a new Razr v3. I put my old SIM card in and the phone works fine, except my SIM contacts are no where to be found. Although, when I go to the phone book and select New Entry, I can 'browse' the names of my SIM contacts and choose one of their names for the new entry, but can't choose their phone numbers. So, I know it is recognizing the SIM card, I just don't know how to access it myself and transfer the numbers.

I accidentally changed the entry mode for SENDing text messages from numeric to letters. So, I typed in my message. Then pressed 'send to one time entry' and the default entry mode is letters when it used to be numeric. I realize I can press the "#" key a few times to switch over, however, that is only temporary. What I am asking is...How can I make the numeric entry mode the default setting when sending a text message. The reason I am asking is because it is a pain in the butt to keep switching over to the numeric entry mode every time I need to send a text to a person who is not on my phonebook. Thanks in advance for any help!!

My screen on my razr v3 died on me the other day.. both the inside and outside ones are not working. I can still send and receive calls.
I have been trying to make my phone discoverable with bluetooth, and/or turn the bluetooth on.. but its hard when you can't see the menus to navigate.
I was wondering if anyone could help me go through the menu's by telling me where i need to go, how many lines i need to move.. and all that. I would really really appreciate it! (if you had time to do pictures of the screens that would be really cool too)
I want to try and get my phonebook (i thought i was saving them to the sim, but i guess not) and my photos off the camera before it heads to cellphone heaven (i have a new krzr (red) phone )
I know there are different menu set ups.. but i still have mine on the default one.. and my colors are the silver one i believe..
any help would be greatly appreciated!

somehow when i was setting up the phone, something got turned on to where now every time i go to the phonebook, it speaks (or attempts to anyway) the name of the highlighted line in my phonebook... i have looked all through the phone and my manual and have yet to find how to turn it off... please help! it is driving me nuts!!!
well, i tried to follow the directions, but i didnt have those catagories on my phone... however, it did finally lead me to the place i needed to be... :)

go to settings > others > voice guide > then disable :)

All right, I see this problem everywhere but none of the solutions have worked for me. I have a Motorola Razr V3 and at first my computer recognizes it and tells me I have a v3 plugged in. It then asks me if I need to install software for it but I say no not this time because I already have mpt (mobile phone tools) installed. So I go to mpt and click default profile and then hit USB connection. I get a message saying that I need to plug the phone in and have it turned on so I unplug it and plug it back in and it starts loading. It finally finishes and a picture of a phone pops up but it’s not the razr and it just says initializing. I also can’t access the phonebook or anything like that.
Any ideas? Thanks for the help in advance,

P.S. One last note, I also think I have the p2k drivers installed correctly (Just put the p2k system file in {C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers} right?)
