I need a way to unlock my Motorla razr v3. Its a black phone. I've called the T-Mobile store and evreything. I called the cell phone repair store can't do it. Don't have the money for it. I need a way to unlock it for free without the use of the downloads either because those don't seem to work. So please if someone could help me out. That would be much appreciated. Thank you in advanced. I just need a way to unlock it. I can't use the t-mobile store either because i got it from my brother as a present and, the account was not in good standings i guess. Voting Question: Razr cell phone screen not powering on?

I received a call, and when I hung up, the outer screen had the Alltel symbol for the backround. When I opened the phone, there were about 8 vertical lines in all different shades of blue on the main screen. I didn't think it was a big deal, so I shut the phone off, then turned it back on. When I turned it back on, the music that I hear when I turn my phone on played, but all that lighted up was the blue lights around the buttons. The main screen remains black. Resolved Question: How often should I charge my cell phone battery?

I usually charge my phone once every couple of days when it gets down to the last line and the battery is about to die. I heard if you charge your battery too much, like every day, then in the long run, it'll make the battery last not as long. But if you charge it less often, it'll last you a lot longer in the long run. Is this true or just a myth? Will it hurt my battery if I charge it every night or make it have a shorter life span? Resolved Question: How to transfer computer pictures to cell phone?

I have a MacBook computer and I want my pictures that are on my computer to be on my Motorola Razr 2 v9. I have a memory card and a memory card adapter. When I put the card in the adapter, the computer recognizes it. And the pictures that I have on my phone can transfer to the computer with no problem. But the pictures on my computer won't transfer to my phone. All that shows up is a big red "x" on a black screen. Am I doing something wrong? The phone company is AT&T.  more

So here is the deal. About 3 weeks ago, my black v3 razr broke and I got the samsung SGH-a127 to replace it. It broke two weeks later, and radioshack wouldn't refund my money. I found out after that though that my upgrade is this Saturday, and my dad wants me to pick out a free phone. Both of the phones have their strong points and one significant weak point. Here's what I want out of a phone: 1) Good battery life. Both the a127 and the razr had poor battery life, and I text a lot, so I want a phone that'll hold a charge. I've heard mixed reviews about the a737, and that after about six months, the battery life becomes crappy. But I looked up a lot of tips on how to maintain the battery life on any phone, and I think maybe if I take good care of it and charge it correctly, it won't be like that? The a637 got a higher battery rating than the a737, though. 2) Durability: I drop my phones a whole hell of a lot, so I don't want my phone to break the second I drop it. The only problem is, both of these phones make me nervous as far as durability goes. The a637 is completely exposed, which is always kind of scary, and when I looked at it in the mall, the plastic felt a little flimsy. However, the a737 is a slider phone. I've heard quite the horror stories about how flimsy slider phones can be, and I also heard that the back of the 737 falls off when you drop it. 3) Design: Okay, I know it sounds a little shallow, but I don't want people to look at my phone and be like, "what an ugly phone." I LOVE both of the designs, so I'm totally stuck on that one. I don't care about fancy features like the internet, email, or GPS. I never use them. All I care about is texting and phone calls. So if you've had any one of these phones, let me know what you think of it because so, far, they're tied. I've had my phone a Razr for almost 6 months.. so its basically brand new.. until today i havent had many problems with my phone. When i was going to check my phone for new text messages.. the screen was completely blank and black.. i tried turning it on and then repeatedly shutting the phone to try and get a screeen back. no luck. I then went home to charge it thinking that if i charge it for sure it will start to work. When putting it on the charger it immediately said that the battery was low even though i knew it was fully charged..within seconds the charge was full battery. My Motorola RAZR V3 fell in the snow In Mid-December at a camp when I was with Boy Scouts, and I wasn't able to find it. Last week, I got a call from someone saying that they found a Black razr cell phone at Camp Wakpominee. I was amazed to hear that it was turning on after 4 months in the snow, and they were drying it out. Naturally, when it was handed to me a few hours ago, I immediately plugged it in. Here's the problem. It SAYS Charging Battery, but It will not turn on while plugged in, and the battery doesn't seem to be getting better. I cannot get a new phone from AT&T because the water sticker is red, so is there ANYTHING I can do? Or at least can someone tell me what's wrong????  more

I have a hot pink Motorola RAZR phone with AT&T... and I might get a new phone. I love the one I have now, but we get a new one for free, and I can pick the one I want. I want the ablilty to text, but I don't really text since it's not in my plan... I want a camera on the phone that I get... I don't want an MP3 player. Don't worry about price because I get it for free. Do not say iPhone or Quickfire please. Something similar to the RAZR maybe? My cell was in my pants when i put them in the washer without realizing, i know, very stupid. It still turns on, because the buttons light up, but the screen stays black. I took the battery out so it could dry if its still wet, but it doesnt seem to be, the only wetness i can notice is in the outside screen and the little camera thingy. So, i'm using a Razr right now, and its really crappy because ive had it for about 2 or 3 years, and i don't like it that much. I'm looking for a new cell phone (I have AT&T, a Razr V3XX) because my Razr is a piece of crap. I can't hear anyone very well at all (even with my bluetooth headset), and the buttons are starting to stick. I am really mostly interested in getting a phone that has a louder speaker volume and excellent voice quality. I don't really care about features that much, but web access and alarm clock are two that I use the most. I read that the Black Jack has good voice quality and I guess the iPhone too. ok so my friend has a LG Shine from ATT. i have a black RAZR from ATT. i am very very very tired of my cellphone. im i the mood for a slider phone. soo my friend neveruses his phone, and is unactivated. my phone IS activated. so i was wondering, wha if i took my SIM card from my cell phone (which is active and working properly) and put it in my friends unactivated phone? will i be able to use it? wil i have the same number? or my friends OLD number? please and thank you.  more

i need a cell. i have a small business that requires emails but i have a lap top too. i like the idea of a personal organizer but the moto phone has one too that is also computer capable. ( i can use my computer to organize my days on my phones scheduler) the blackberry is neat on all the applications it can do, and the three times a month it will help with email will be nice but over the three year contract the black berry will cost me 300 dollars more than the razr. i need to know if the pearl is worth it for what i need. i also like to text and the email thing is pretty neat. and the email will help on vacations and when i am away froma computer for my business. help!!  more

I'm currently on a Rogers plan on a black razr phone. My friend gave me his old BlackBerry (8800 series), which I intend to use instead of my cellphone. Do I need to call Rogers and make sure they aren't suddenly charging me for email and internet and whatever else? I only want my BlackBerry for calls and text messages, just like on my old cell phone. I don't really have the need to check my email or facebook or anything while I'm on the road... I was on the shower when it suddently ring, I picked up with my hair still wet, but tried my best not to get it wet. To make it short, the phone works but the screen is black (it works but its only the screen). I removed the back to find that it had very little water. I NEEEEEED HELP !!!! okay three months ago i got my razr cell phone stolen and had to pay full price for my new cell.. i got an lg shine - yesterday i went to softball practice and it was in a quilted change purse ( with no change in it obviously ) and in a velvet part of my softball bag- the phone never dropped and nobody ever touched it.. when i got to my car i realized that the liquid inside the phone ran.. the screen is all black with like white and green running through it.. the screen itself isnt cracked, its the inside of the phone.. I had the black razr v3 for 3 and a half years. Finally it got wet by accident :( and I need to get a new phone :). I've been looking at phones for awhile and I'm stuck between three. The LG Vu, the LG Shine and the Sony Ericsson w580i. They're all good phones but I just can't decide! Your feedback would be most appreciated! I'm scared sh--less, i have to type this on my ipod at 2 in the morning, in his apartment 4 ft away from him. I first started being suspicious when a few months ago, I was sitting with my dad in somebody's office (for something, dont remember), then my dad answered his cell phone (with a different ringtone, and in the other hand so i wouldnt see), and said goodbye calling the caller "honey". When we got home I asked my mom why she called, and she said she didnt. Fast forward a few months today. Me and my dad were out fishing and at one point, he whipped out a cell phone, that i had never seen before. That was odd to me because he has a black razr and he always answers his work calls on it right infront of me. I saw that he looked at me over his shoulder to see if i was watching, but i didnt let him know i was listening and watching. He again said goodbye calling the caller "honey". I waited till he fall asleep and hunted down the secret cell phone. It is a cheap cell phone, maybe 40 bucks at most. I checked his contacts, the only one was "maria". I checked his dialed list, nothing. Received, nothing. Missed, about 50 missed calls. It's been missing for a few days, now. I called AT&T and deactivated my account so that, if it was stolen, nobody can use it. I asked AT&T if they could help me track it, and the answer was no. I have been frantically looking online for a phone tracker, and I have found none. Resolved Question: How do I remove the sim card (or dummy sim card) that came with my Nokia 6263 cell phone (from T-mobile)?

I got my new Nokia 6263 cell phone from T-mobile, but after sliding off the back cover, I see something already in the SIM card slot. It looks like either another SIM card, or a dummy placeholder (has a black color with a thin silver border to it.) There is a silver bracket-type thing around it, holding it in place. No obvious way to remove this SIM card or placeholder thing. Anyone know how I can safely remove whatever is in the SIM card slot? Also, can I use my current SIM card (from my RAZR phone) in this Nokia phone? (I assume yes, since both are T-Mobile.) Thanks in advance for any advice. --Don  more
