Resolved Question: Someone PLease Help With My Wedding Invitations a disaster?
Hi everyone my name is Shay , and I'm expected to get marry in January 2008, of the 16,, Well me and my fiancé just turn 20 and I'm still 19 yrs of age. He is in his 4th year of college right now and he also owns his own company call pr-motors. I'm also in college right now trying to pursed in the medical field of being a heart surgeon. My fiancé and I are planning to get married in Panama City Beach Florida. We are paying for everything and including the hotels and all. We are expecting 53 guest that will be staying at the Boardwalk Beach Central Resort. And all the rooms came up to 2,068 $ for 7 rooms for all of our guest, they are three bedrooms condos. I’m getting ready to send out invitations in October and I really don’t know what to really say but that they are invited,I’m setting up my registry at, target, Dillard’s, JC penny, sear, and Macy, I really don’t want wal-mart because they stuff doesn’t last. Is it wrong for me to tell my guest in my invitations where my registry are and where they can buy me gifts? Is it wrong for me to tell them not to buy me nothing from wal-mart? I don’t want to some picky or anything or selfish. But I feel as though since nobody can’t help us with the wedding at least they can do is buy a nice gift. I mean looked at it from this point of view,, everybody says they can’t help with the wedding// oh by the way the wedding is 15k, but yeah I’m paying for dresses, tux, catering(65 a head) hotels which is a 2 night stay. Rehearsal dinner everything and nobody has a penny to help us but my mom and grandparents.Yes nobody told me to have this expensive wedding but everybody want to come, and everybody thinks we have money which we don’t, we been saving up since nov of 2005 of our engagement and work hard for this.
