I would be an out-of-state student (I live in Virginia). My GPA is 3.41, my SAT score is 1810 (ACT is 23), I will have taken 2 AP courses by the end of the current school year, and have never been suspended or gotten in any serious trouble. I haven't done many extracurricular activities at my school other than 1 club but I have interned 2 consecutive Summers at an Architectural firm in Washington D.C. and took a week long Architecture class at Virginia Tech...
Not many students from my school seem to apply there but they have an architecture program and are decently priced (especially for out of state) so I'm curious of how big a chance I have at getting in.

I am a freshman at NC State but I am thinking about becoming a transfer to UNCC next semester to major in architecture. I like it here at State though, and don't want to transfer unless the program is really worth it. Thanks for any info.
Yeah I know State has the best but I didn't have enough hours last semester to be considered for architecture. So it is either stay here another year undecided and apply next year or go to UNCC.

Sources tell the paper that B of A needs help to digest Merrill Lynch, and that the Treasury is willing to help. That acquisition went through January 1. Merrill Lynch lost far more money than was anticipated in its final independent quarter.
It comes at a time when Bank of America is weakened by the economic climate. “They have two major integrations to accomplish, they are laying off 42,500 people across the entire franchise at the same time they are dealing with consumer credit quality issues and the deepest recession since the Great Depression,” UNCC Finance Professor Tony Plath said. “The bank is not at risk for failure, but boy, do they have a lot of work to do.”

So. I am a Broadcast Journalism Major. I am a Freshman in college...I have been exploring Meteorology some and I am think about switching majors.
But I have a problem, I am not a strong Math student, and I have looked at a few course outlines for this major and they always require at least Calculus II, and a lot of Physics classes. Any suggestions.
And don't suggest, major in Broadcast Journalism and just become a "weatherman", which is not a meteorologist.
I am looking into the following colleges to transfer to: Miss State, Southern Alabama, NC State, UNCC, UNCA
Any suggestions.
Any other info would be most helpful, including salary range for a mid size or large market.

Ok I still haven't decided what I want to do.
The only thing I have decided to do is join the law club.
UNCC will be builing a law program soon, but not know. I have been told it doesn't matter and If I just do well in my classes along with the law club I should be accepted to a law school.
Only problem is I don't know what classes to take. I was thinking about Majoring in Business or Art.
People always tell me do what you like. But I don't know what I like. I just need advice, on what would be the smartest classes to take in case I change my mind about Law.

I know that these are very different fields but I would really like to keep my options open. I live in NC. I know that UNCC offers pre-med and Johnson and Whales offers culinary. The schools are 15 minutes apart. With a job and these studies, would the course load be too overwhelming?
In case I decide doing both, it would be helpful if I could find a school that offers both of these majors. Does anyone know of any?
I plan on trying to get a scholarship but if I can't, my parents will pay tuition. This means that if I need to stay on campus, I have to cover that cost on my own (along with books/lab fees/ food)
