When I was in high school I would have never thought I would even be asking this question, but in the past few months I have changed my mind about a lot of things in my life! I have been attending a local community college since last fall and I have changed my major so many times, I have absolutely no clue of what to do with my life right now... I have been working for my uncle for about a year now and I am just not enjoying it at all! I think i may want to go into the medical field but school is sooo expensive and another reason I would want to join is for the money i would get to pay for school and I just need something new in my life, some adventure maybe, a new location... I don't know, but if anyone out there has some advice for me that would be great!

Hello. I have three questions, and I do hope someone can help me with them. Feel free to just pick one. I tend to get a bit wordy.
1. How can I improve my memory. It's really, really, really horrible. I'm 18, yet I can't seem to keep anything in my head. It's very strange because a few years ago I had an excellent memory. I used to study Japanese and would pick up everything quickly, and really had no trouble with memorizing anything. Now, I can't keep anything in my head. I can hardly remember what I did/said yesterday. It's really bad. Does anyone know what might be happening, or how I can improve my memory? I've taken to writing things down in a notebook I keep with me, but it's just not the same.
2. I feel as if my head is constantly cloudy. Some days it feels heavy, other days it feels empty. There's a constant feeling of numbness, though. It's really hard to concentrate on things, or just take things in. For example, someone could be having a conversation with me and I am just not able to concentrate on what they're saying at all. Or I would have to re-read certain texts to register anything. I just can't see "clearly" anymore. Or think clearly. It's really becoming an impediment on the hobbies I have, such as writing. I can hardly get 500 words on paper because my head constantly feels cloudy. Please help?
3. I feel like I have no passion for anything. I used to be a passionate reader, and while I enjoy it, sometimes immensely, I'm just not as passionate for written word as I once was. I enjoy painting and drawing and writing a lot, and while I used to be passionate about it, I'm just not anymore. It's nice to do, but I no longer get excited doing it. I used to study Japanese passionately, and while I do love the language and wish I could study again, I just can't. I have no passion for anything anymore. I used to skip school (yeah, that's bad, I know. it wasn't a normal thing, of course) because I was so into a writing or art project and just didn't want to leave my house until I finished. Now, I can hardly start. It's been months already, and nothing has changed. If anything, it's getting worse.
I know my self-esteem plays a major part in it. I'm terrified of my future, and am constantly thinking I'm not good enough, and will never be good enough, to pursue any area. Even when I thought that before, though, I at least used to try. I at least felt motivated to proving myself wrong. Now, it's like that' just not possible. Every time I tell myself "I can do this", I feel like I'm lying to myself.
Please help.

So last semester I got placed on non-academic probation at my former university which placed a huge psychological stress upon me which caused me to fail my finals that semester and have a overall GPA of 1.62.... I have some major dental problems. I am going to a dental school in Boston MA. I just got a new dental student working on my case. My major problems are that I already have 3 extractions, need a couple more, need root canal work, need crowns, need gum work, and cleaning. I put down $10 grand so I know that I have a safety net of ten thousand dollars available to spend on dental work.
Here are some things that I disagree on:
1. About 3-4 months ago I got a deep cleaning / root planning and scaling. They measured my pockets on my gums to be around 3-5 MM. So yesterday, the student dentist found one pocket to be around 7 mm. He called down a periodontist. The periodontist (who was a doctor) said that he could not find any pockets that were 7mm, that the largest he could find were 5 mm. Even after this finding, the student dentist still recorded this as a 7. Is he trying to send me into gum flap surgery? Do you think I need it?
2. Mouth Guard: I was wearing a custom fit dentist made mouth guard because I grind my teeth. I lost it. I asked them to make me another one. He said he wouldn't make me another one till all of the work was done because the dynamics of my mouth will change. I don't understand. The last mouthguard I wore was placed on the two front teeth and kept it so the teeth didn't touch. Shouldn't he make me one? I bought a cheap one at the store. I guess I can't force him.

Help! I have just finished my core classes but I am still undecided as to what I want to do as my major! I have this extreme fear of settling on a major that I will not like and wanting to change it after it is too late, and wasting time.
People tell me to pick a major that I enjoy...but I do not know what I like!?! People ask me 'What is your passion?', and I cannot answer them. So how do I pick a major??
Also, is there a site that tells you what all the majors do, like in the job field on a daily basis? My major concern is picking a major thinking I will do one thing, then all the jobs in that field, once I graduate, are totally different work-site that I imagined. Is there a site that basically explains the typical day-to-day job someone will have for a particular major?

OK, so I’ll give you the situation… I’m looking for some feedback and opinions. I’m not looking for someone to put their 2 cents in and put me down, so if that what you’re going to do, please don’t answer.
I’ll be 37 weeks PG with my first tomorrow. This is the 3rd grandchild on my parents side and for my in-laws, it will be their first. My parents are retired, and my in-laws both work (my FIL has a full time job and my MIL has an at-home day care).
Well whenever I plan to leave on my maternity, we know that money will get tight, especially since it’s unpaid leave and I only have 2 weeks on vacation time saved up.
My parents, even before I got pregnant, have ALWAYS been there to help us, they have always offered help even though they know that we don’t need it. Now that I’m pregnant, they have stepped up even more. My mom calls me every day (sometimes 2 or 3 times) to ask how I’m feeling and how I’m doing, always offers to come over and clean my apartment, cook, do laundry (even though I say no thanks). They call and want to take us out to eat so we don’t have to cook and have offered to take me wherever I need to go to buy stuff for baby, etc (normal stuff parents do).
My in-laws however are completely different. They haven’t done very much in the way of “helping” us or showing involvement in my pregnancy. My MIL never calls me (only texts) maybe once every couple of weeks to see how I’m doing and how I’m feeling (you would think that me being pregnant with their first grandchild that they would want to know everyday how things are going). They have never offered to do anything for us (even though, like I do with my mom, I would turn them down because I want to do stuff myself). They never call (not even my husband), it’s like they don’t care. Well a couple months ago we went over the in-laws house and they have a whole room set-up with a crib, changing table and dresser. I was kind of like WTF, because it’s like they’re planning for the baby to live there. All they had ever gotten us was a baby bath. Then out of nowhere, they tell us that they know money will be tight and that they want to make our car payment for us while I’m on maternity leave (it’s $500) and to buy diapers for the baby for the first year, then went on to cry a river and tell us they were sorry for not being there and they want to be more involved, blah blah blah. Since then, like I said before, my MIL has text me maybe twice to see how I’m doing. (they live 10 minutes away) That’s great and really nice of them, but me and my husband are not the kind of people that look for handouts and want free stuff… We’ve never been that kind and don’t want to start now even with a child. We didn’t even want a baby shower, but my mom and MIL insisted.
And to me it kind of seems like they are trying to buy their way into being grandparents. To me, it’s what you do and the effort you put into it that makes a grandparent, not how much money you spend. They seem like they only care when it’s convenient for them and when they feel like caring.
And it’s the same for my SIL. She NEVER texts me (she’s 20, lives with her b/f about maybe 15 minutes away) to see how I’m doing or to see if I want to go do something, and we were SUPER close before she met her b/f. And then last night out of nowhere, she calls my husband and wants to go out to eat dinner tonight. I told my husband no, we got into a fight and that brings me to the present… He thinks that I’m over thinking things, that I need to let it go and not hold a grudge (basically taking their side). All I ask is that he supports me and not just shoot me down and to look at things from my point of view. I’m super stressed out, and spent this whole morning crying. I know I shouldn’t be since I could go into labor any day now, but I can’t help it…
Am I being unreasonable or selfish for feeling this way?

I'm sure some would like to deny it, but I remember Scott Brown's election run and victory being a MAJOR deal for the right. The guys in Mass. and people were clamoring about him down here in Texas. Fast forward to today though and the same people that were cheering him on when he said "I drive a truck" (the 'everyman' theme??? i don't know)
Or how about John McCain. This is the same man people voted for President. Now he's not even wanted in Congress. Obama was a big deal when he won. Pelosi was a big deal when she won, now they're both wanted out. Is it just part of human nature?

Residential segregation persists today less because of intolerance but rather based on human greed. African Americans are the only minority group to ethnically dominate the neighborhoods that they reside in. This segregation is not economically based. Studies have shown that affluent blacks are more segregated than the poorest Asians and Hispanics.
Studies have also indicated that the major responsibility for this continued segregation is rests with the real estate industry. Discrimination was overt until the Fair Housing Act was passed in 1968. Black home seekers now face a more subtle process of exclusion. Rather than encountering "white only" signs, there are a covert series of measures. Black buyers are systematically shown, offered, and invited to inspect far fewer homes than comparably qualified white buyers. As a result, their access to urban housing is substantially reduced. And although white attitudes about racially mixed neighborhoods have changed , there has been a systemic failure to achieve any meaningful goals in residential desegregation.
The effect of residential segregation aggravates the overall trend of income inequality which disproportionately affects African Americans. High levels of income inequality paired with high levels of racial or ethnic segregation result in geographically concentrated poverty. Studies have indicated that such residential class isolation is a primary cause of reduced employment, lowered incomes, fewer marriages and increased unwed childbearing.

the strange thing is....they all worked until today :|!please provide solutions (also i must add that i tried changing the MTU for my net connection to a lower value 3 times and it didnt work ~X(! )

I am an 18 year old male, and have never been involved with a girl. I have never even been kissed (let alone gone any further). This September, I am moving to a major American city to begin my Ph.D., and I would like this to change.
The circumstances are a little peculiar. At age 14, I was moved two years ahead in high school. This was an excellent move academically, but I fear it affected my social development. Since graduating from high school at 16, I have completed my undergraduate degree in two years. During college my social life was non-existent (of course, this helped when it came to putting in the long hours necessary to completing the coursework so quickly). I only have one real friend (who is very close, but attending college in another city), and have never so much as attended a party. The closest thing I have to a friend at the moment is my younger brother, and a college acquaintance I see rather infrequently. Needless to say, I often feel lonely. Not having friends is also an impediment to meeting members of the opposite sex (visiting bars, parties etc. is made more difficult).

Okay me and my boyfriend have been on and off for a year and a half, hes never dumped me but i've dumped him... three times! Well anyway we've been back together for a couple of months now, he told me he was depressed and miserable without me and that he loves me and all this crap. I mean, he gets annoyed if i talk about a guy friend or I want to go on cam to a friend who is a boy. He has no trust for me and he treats me like crap and is constantly making me feel bad! Alright, like two days ago, I made a huge change. I wanted to starting working out again since I was over weight. I went for a 30 minute run int he morning for the two days. The two days ago after the 30 minute run at night time I went out walking. The thin is, My legs and thighs are hurting me SO BAD like, I could barley move! How long will this last and how can it not hurt, etc!

Well I might be getting a console for my birthday (I have enough money saved up to buy any of them, it's just depending on if my parents will let me spend that money), and I'm really struggling over making a choice. I have done extensive research and the more I do, the more I find myself coming to a wall.
I have found the CPU of the PS3 is superior to that of the X-Box 360, however apparently the GPU of the 360 is superior to that of the PS3. I only have an old analog standard-definition TV, so HD is not important, however, I still want console which has the best graphics, including textures, character models, environments, etc. I know that these aspects of graphics still look good in SD, even without a HD television. I'm not interested in using the console for any other functions than playing games (although it may replace my DVD player considering the both consoles act as one anyway). The thing with the PS3 is the free online gaming. Although it's not my sole reason for buying a console, I would like the be able to play some titles online and I do not want to have to pay for this service, like the XBL Gold membership. However, I have found that the 360 has more exclusives that are probably better to play online (Halo, etc.), and in general these exclusives are more appealing to me (especially Mass Effect which is a game I'm dying to play and my PC won't run it). Although PS3 exclusives are great (I'm pumped to play Uncharted 2), on the average they just don't appeal as much to me (eg. Little Big Planet, Resistance). I'm currently undecided about Metal Gear Solid (but this is going to Xbox as well) and God of War 3, as well as Gran Turismo (I think I probably prefer the look of Forza). So on the average, exclusives for the 360 would rank higher altogether than probably the PS3.
But, then there is the issue of multi-platform games. I've read that since the X-Box came out 1st, more games were developed for it and the 360 platform set the benchmark for developing. Therefore, due to the ease of porting from 360 to PC, developers mostly develop games for the 360 and their ports for the PS3 do not look as good graphically. Again this is important as a number of these games (Batman: Arkham Asylum, Red Dead Redemption, GTA) look better on the 360, and just look washed out of the PS3. As I am after the best graphical experience, the 360 is more appealing in this area, but then I've read more stuff...
Apparently due to the emergence of developers utilising the Cell processor of the PS3, and the Blu-ray discs (which have a 54Gb storage capacity compared to the 9Gb for the 360), better games will start being made for the PS3 which the 360 will be unable to keep up with. As I want this console for at least the next 3-5 years, I'm thinking that the PS3 will be longing lasting as newer games will be better cause they will be utilising this extra power on the PS3. So Blu-ray is important to me, not for the HD visuals, but for the storage capacity, meaning larger games with more realistic graphics will be developed for the PS3. I'm not too fussed about this Kinect of Playstation move, even though if I had to choose it probably would be the Kinect for me.
So basically I've always thought the PS3 was the standout best, but now after looking into it I can't decide. I think at the moment I prefer the 360, but the main drawbacks are the cost of online gaming (which I don't want to play at all, so if I got the 360 I wouldn't play online) as well as the small storage capacity of the DVDs they use. Also I think the hardware quality is cheaper, and tends to have a higher failure rate. That being said, for me the major drawbacks of the PS3 are the suffering of graphics in the multi-platform games (though this may change if PS3 becomes the main developing platform), and overall having a smaller library of games than the 360, as well as some take-offs having less appeal to me (eg. Resistance looks silly with the monsters, whereas Halo pulls it off better).
So if you guys could recommend which console you think is best for me, and maybe explain the better features of it and why it would suit me, I can try and make my decision a bit easier.
moreOpen Question: My Bengal kitten keeps vomiting, ever since he got Tricat vaccine?
It's been eight days since my male Bengal kitten (8 months old) got his second Tricat vaccine at the veterinary, and we've started to notice that he's been vomiting a lot lately?
First we started to see these random dot's on the floor around the house, but at first we didn't really know what it was, but four days ago we caught our kitten vomiting indoor and noticed right away that it was creating the same dot's that we've been seeing randomly around the house for a few days.
After carefully watching him the past few days, it almost seems like his vomiting at least once a day, if not even more often? Is this a normal behavior? We haven't really had any struggle with him vomiting (at least not inside of the house) before? He got free passage outside the house, so for all we know he could have been vomiting outside for a while, but it seems awkward that he now suddenly have started to vomiting inside of the house, at least once every day for the past 5-8 days?
There hasn't really been any major change in his environment lately, it's not over three weeks since he got castrated so I don't think that could have anything to do with it? Considering he didn't seem that much affected by it even the first days after the castration?
The only thing I can think of is the Tricat vaccine he got eight days ago? And I was told that it could affect him slightly the first day or two, but now it's been over a week and he keeps vomiting?
He's been giving the same food for several months, we've used Royal Canin Kitten 36 + Royal Canin Instinctive Kitten ever since we got him when he was just 3.5 months old? And there hasn't been any issues with that before? So I don't see why there suddenly would be now?
Though we have been providing him with the free tryout of the Royal Canin Veterinary Young Adult Male food we got the day we castrated him, which he has been eating a little of (it still mostly goes in Kitten 36) but he didn't seem to react to it the first week, so why now after three weeks?
Anyway we've just ran out of the Royal Canin Veterinary food, so we'll keep using the Kitten 36 + Kitten Instinctive until I receive the rather large portion of Wellness Core food I ordered from the states a few weeks ago, then I'll slowly start to migrate him over from Royal Canin to Wellness.
But what should I do? Should I just keep doing the same regular routine, same food and hope for it all to pass with time? Or should I be doing something in order to get this vomiting out of the way? Is it dangerous for my kitten to throw up once every day?

I know everyone is probably thinking "They didn't make any major moves in the offseason" and stuff like that, BUT they did make some changes to the team. Most of the distractions and waste of talent like Jianlian, Simmons and others are gone from the team. The Nets don't have to worry about Lawrence Frank or anymore boring coaching experiments. They now have a real head coach in Avery Johnson, 2 star players bound to have monster years in Devin Harris and Brook Lopez, #3 draft pick Derrick Favors as well as other promising players such as Terrence Williams, Anthony Morrow, Courtney Lee and Damion James to go along with other young role players. Sure not many of them stand out as an impact player, but I think that they can build some kind of chemistry to compete for a playoff spot next season.
Brook Lopez is bound to be a double-double machine, possibly a 20-10 player, next season. Harris is bound to being the star he was during the 2008-09 season when he was averaging over 20 PPG. Morrow, who has been one of NBA's top three-point shooters, is going to have a chance to make an impact with his three-point ability (career 43% 3pt shooter). Derrick Favors may be able to handle their power forward spot and be something similar to what Kenyon Martin was when he was a Net. If every last one of those players can perform to their expectations, I can see the Nets being a real surprise team in the WEAK Eastern Conference next season. They're not going to win a championship or anything, but they could certainly show some major improvement from last season.

I have been married for now 4 years and we have a daughter who is turning 2 in September.
Our marriage have not been the best for as long as I remember. But we get through it as always. Now that we have our daughter things just get dusted off.. we rarely talk about "US" anymore.
I've been suffering from Insomnia for now.. 4-5 months. It is not a major case... I do sleep but I have hard time staying asleep. I get disturbed easily. (extremely a light sleeper) so I started sleeping in the living room on our couch for awhile but I started sleeping in the room with my husband again just recently. He snores pretty loudly.. so I am typically not sleeping at all....
I think I've had a post-partum depression that never gotten treated.
Long story short, I experienced my 2nd panic attack just couple days ago and I am horrified it might happen to me again... it almost felt like I was having a heart attack and after I felt very nauseated and had to vomit series of times.
I am finally realizing this is not something I can fix myself. So I decided to see a therapist and get this under control with medication.
Do you have any advice or input for me? or..
Has anyone here had a difficulty coping as a mom and eventually ended up taking some sort of anti depressant to treat it? what kind of medication have to taken and how did it affect you and your family? importantly, how did it change you as a mother?

She's saying a lot of people are bailing on her, because of what she did (with her boyfriend).
In other words, she doesn't have as many friends as she did before...Her best friend ditched her, and I don't know why, maybe it was because of the whole boyfriend thing, but I dont know.
What can I do to help her, comfort her, tell her she isn't stupid? Should I tell her she needs to stop doing that stuff? Or....ahh, please tell me what to do! :[

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is a book about 4 siblings- Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy- that move in with an old professor during a war. At this professors house they find an interesting wardrobe that leads them into a completely different realm, Narnia with mythical creatures.
While in Narnia they begin an adventure of restoring the old ways of the land that were altered by the White Witch. Through their journey in Narnia one would notice thematic issues such as justice, redemption, loyalty, and a very slight religious aspect.
This book justice is an extremely significant topic played upon. Justice is both misused and used in the correct sense. Justice was used falsely when the Witch brought up the law of Deep Magic that states “ Every traitor belongs to me as my lawful prey and that for treachery I have a right to a kill” ( A kill referring to Edmund). Her killing Edmund wouldn’t be considered justice, because she fooled him into betrayal alluring him with food and out of this world promises. The White Witch does this again when she kills Aslan in place of Edmund, Aslan committed no fault. Though justice was used incorrectly, there was a still occasions when where it was accurate. When the White Witch finally dies, it is her “just deserves”. A new intelligence of justice forms in Edmund. Edmund believed that since his brother did him was displeased with him Peter he should suffer. As the book ends he no longer thinks the same Justice arose as an important topic of this novel.
Redemption is believed to be one of the most important themes of this book. A great example of redemption, is when Edmund changes from his spiteful ways, and fights with the “Good” side of Narnia. This is a great example of redemption, while at the same time redemption can also be connected with restoration. Restoration could be seen as Narnia’s everlasting winter turning back to spring. Also the restoration of the characters turned to stone by the late White Witch. Restoration can even include the resurrection of Aslan. Though there are few examples of redemptions, all of them play a huge role in shaping all parts of this story.

Courage can be found together with loyalty in this book. Luckily, in this book it shows you the outcome of loyalty. An example of this is when Aslan comes back from death, if he wasn’t loyal to his promise of death he would have never came back. The reverse of that example is that since the White Witch was loyal to no one, it resulted in her death. Loyalty is one key component to this book.

I'm writing a book. Here's the story line:
Tessa Harte had just moved from her small town in New Jersey because it had so many memories of Brian, her ex boyfriend, and John, her dad, that had past away from a heart disease a few years ago. She can't get over Brian because he cheated on her with a desperate cheerleader, Heather Anderson. Her twin brother Jason, isn't very supportive because he doesn't know what it feels like to be heartbroken. Usually he's the one that breaks up with his girlfriends. Tessa really wants someone to talk to, but she feels like no one will listen, until the first day of her new high school. Leaning up against the wall when she walks into the office is Jesse Column, one of the major hottest guys in the school.
Considering she started with only 2 months left, she doesn't have any friends. So Tessa gets to know Jesse a little bit more, because they had ever class together, and before you know it, into the third week of being at her new school, they're best friends. Tessa is ignored by the popular crowd, and she doesn't fit in with the geeks, or ches club nerds, the drama club won't look at her, and the skater kids clique isn't her type of social group either. so needless to say, she doesn't have a clique to call her own. But Jesse changes that. He's dissed by his friends because he hangs out with Tessa, the tall, model type chick who is hated because they're are simply jealous.
Tessa finds out Jesse was also cheated on by his girlfriend Summer, so she feels like he knows exacly what she feels. But being with Jesse makes her feel so alive, she's not sure she feels the pain anymore. Jesse talks to Tessa like he's known her for years, they goof around with each other, laugh at each others jokes, and have a great time together. Tessa feels herself falling inlove with Jesse, and Jesse feels the same way. Tessa feels like she can tell him anything, but what if he doesn't understand about Tessa's abusive step-dad. But one night, everything changed.

So my boyfriend of nearly 6 months started off being the best boyfriend on the planet. He was the SWEETEST guy EVER. But then, probably a little over a month ago, I had MAJOR family problems and my bf didn't support me. Suddenly, it was my fault that we weren't as close, and he blamed me because I was so down all the time. But he had changed. He wasn't as sweet or caring anymore. He didn't leave me voicemails saying how much he loved me at night, or send me sweet bumper stickers on Facebook anymore. So...we broke up. For two days. And then he wanted me back saying sweet things again, like now he'll always be there to support me and such. But now, we're back to square one. He doesn't ask to see me anymore, doesn't plan dates, and we have barely talked in 2 days, although everything goes good when we're in person. Our recent fight was that he was saying how I don't try in the relationship and that he was sick of being all sweet and stuff and not getting anything for it---which is bullshit. But he apologized for saying those things..saying he just said that cuz he was mad or w.e. I want things to back to normal. But will that ever happen? Being apart this summer has really taken a toll on our relationship. What do you think is best for us?

Sorry its long :/ I'm 14, and there's this guy i like, he has the cutest smile, he's tall, and pretty hot :) but i recently found out he smokes weed and he's a major player(not a virgin, def.). I'm a strong christian with career goals, and i would never do drugs, and i want to save myself till marriage. I tell myself again and again "you can not go out with him, it will never work". But we flirt so much, i cant help feeling he likes me too. I mean, he flirts with alot of girls, so im so confused. I've caught him staring at me a couple times. All the girls in our grade (freshman) and some older try to get with him, i dont pay attention enough to see who his girlfriend is every week. I feel so intimidated, like if i went out with him, (we obviously would NOT have sex) i feel like everyone would think we did because of who he is, and then people would think im a slut. In the beginning of last year my friends had started to party more and i would occasionally go out with them. Once after christmas break i have just completely quit going out i usually just go to work then i come home and lock myself up in my room. I rarely talk to anyone and i don't really feel like talking to anyone. I get irritated very easily! And my mood always changes. I have major trust issues and i know that i do have some anxiety. I'm going to be going to SVSU in the Fall and I am having a hard time getting the classes I need because of my AP scores and I changed my major. I was registered for 16 credits but then I tested out of 4 of those with my AP scores and then I changed my major so now I don't need these classes anyway. The classes I needed are almost full. I am looking for suggestions, I am a daycare provider with a very disrespectful violent 3 yr old boy. He is a very intelligent, he knows the rules, "No toy throwing, no hitting, and that temper tantrums don't get you what you want." I have put him in time outs for throwing toys across the room, that have just missed hitting a baby's head, he screams at the top of his lungs, and if I walk by him while he's in a time out he tries to hit me. He will also keep getting up from the time out saying "I'm the boss!"By law I can not hit him, and I wouldn't anyway- I think that just teaches violence. I have tried positive reinforcement, but as soon as something doesn't go his way he's right back to behaving disrespectful and uncontrollable. If threatened with his father he will sometimes calm down(his father does spank him), but not for long. I have been in day care for 15 yrs. I have my own family day care home and my children all get plenty of 1 on 1 attention. No major changes have occurred in this child's home- his mother is just as frustrated as I am. I have had him in my care for 2 yrs. So it's not a matter of adjusting to day care. I am asking for suggestions because I know his behavior is having a negative affect on my other children, and I can not ignore it.

a few years a go I was in high school , I was very happy had a lot of friends , I was very good in school always got high marks ..
after I graduated everything changed , I was the first among my friends to start studying in university and I become a bit busy to communicate with them , studying was very hard , my major is difficult and exhausting , and my university is known to be the hardest in the country .
besides the problem of studying itself , I've tried to know some people to make friends , I ended up knowing only bad people who attempted to hurt me and only talked to me when they needed me .
so I gave up trying to make new friends , and decided to concentrate only on my studying .
then I've became very lonely , and lost my ability to really make relationships with people , now I only know my roommate , I don't know anyone else , don't talk to anyone else ..
I've been in the university for a year and a half , and every night that comes along is harder than the previous one , I keep crying every night , over something I really don't know .. and in the day when I'm alone I'm supposed to be studying , I don't , I just sit and stare at nothing .
I try to get a hold on myself for sometime but I end up after a couple of days and break down .
I used to look at the bright side of everything , always smile no matter what ..
now I don't care anymore about anything , Í don't laugh .. I rarely smile .. I'm not happy at all ..
although I love the uni and I love my major .. I tried to work out every now and then , didn't help much .
I'm really depressed and don't know how to put myself back together , I need to ..
I used to be a very perky person who's fun to be around , now I don't want to be around anybody anymore ..
I just lock myself alone in the room for days .
what should I do .. I love the old me .. I wanna be back like I used to be before .
P.S :
I study computer science , and I'm now almost 20 , and this has been condition for a year and a half , and it's not ending !!

these days and they ignore (or even more common twist) the positive revelations many people especially the Mayans and Hopis had about the end of the age and that it would be a time of awakening and change and not the end of the world look it up for yourself and also nowhere in Revelation did it say anything about 2012 or any date for that matter. The Mayans and Hopis and Hindus are the ones that had dates attached to their prophecies and if you look at the prophesies with them they are way more accurate and positive and detailed than Revelations. Like for instance the Hopis warn to get out of the major cities and tell of their slow decay and destruction and that people will soon prefer small to medium sized towns. Here is their prophesy on that
There will be villages in this land so great that when you stand in the villages you will not be able to see out, and in the prophecies these are called "villages of stone", or "prairies of stone". And they said the stone will grow up from the ground and you will not be able to see beyond the village. And in the center of many of those villages of stone when they turn to steam, the Native people will turn to steam also (become more desperate, poor, turn to drugs etc) because they never woke up and left the village. And this used to bother me when I was a young man. I used to ask the elders, "Isn't there anything we can do?" And they said, well, it's just that way that if a person does not have the spiritual eyes to see, it's very hard to show them. Or if they don't have the ears to hear, it's very hard to speak with them.

Hello everyone,
I live just outside Bristol (BS16 6SY) and believe I receive signal from the Mendip transmitter (which went fully digital in April). I have Sony Bravia HD ready tv with built in Freeview - no major problems with receiving all SD Freeview channels nor with picture quality in all the time I've had it. 4 weeks ago took delivery of Sagemcom HD + twin tuner PVR and installed it. Troubles began . . . Intermittent pixellation and total signal/picture loss, which have never experienced to this degree ever. According to the PVR signal strength and/or quality at times very low. So had a top of the range (expensive!) new aerial and booster fitted two weeks ago. Signal in to box seems good (according to the aerial engineer and also my own checking of signal on television alone). But still getting intermittent but freqent massive picture loss/distortion and low or non-existent signal strength or quality. (Max strength I have seen through PVR is 40%; max quality 98%, but usually lower and yesterday was 2%!)Have spoken to Sagem who say one needs much higher signal strength for these HD PVRs than one does for one's TV (why does noone warn us about these sorts of things before one shells out nearly £600 in total for box and new aerial!)and therefore the problem is with the signal not the box. The aerial chappy said he thought, as the signal strength at input was good, that maybe there was a poor connection IN the box. I am at a loss! Is the Mendip transmitter providing a poor signal? Is it likely to be the fault of the box, the aerial, interference from nearby equipment - though I can't think what as nothing has changed in my room environment from when I was receiving perfect picture on TV pre-HD PVR!!! I was SO looking forward to receiving Freeview HD and I have spent a lot of money so far for very little benefit. (The picture quality IS good, on both HD and SD, WHEN I do get an uninterrrupted decent picture!) Can anybody out there offer advice - or do I just send everything back?!! Thank you for any wisdom you can offer.

Me and my ex had been together for 10 months and we broke up.
he broke up with me because he said that he didn't see me as a girlfriend and he didn't want to keep hurting me by being so cold to me.
but then he told me that i need to be in his life because he loves me to much and he wants us to be friends.
really i should have been the one to break up with him because he has changed so much. he used to be the greatest guy ever and slowly he started to act like his friends and they are major jerks.
he says he doesn't want to be like them but that he has tried to change back and he cant.
well he is really making me be his friend even when i said he didn't want to and he takes me to cheer practice (we are on the same squad) and its just so hard to be around him even if we are just friends.
idk what to do, if i should stop the friendship or try to get him back and im not even sure if he wants to get back himself.
because he gives me looks and i turn away real fast and he told me he knew he was going to regret it because im too perfect to break up with.

I majored in Philosophy and this was one of the most interesting subjects I crossed.
Believe it or not the vast majority or people do not even know what an empiricist is or the real definition of a rationalist. That is great if you do. They are both philosophical terms.
By reading the following, please afterward tell me which one you are and why. I am very interested. (don't worry, although it appears long it's not too boring) (:
An empiricist is someone who believes in senses, experience, and the physical world. An empiricist might strongly believe in human discovery on Earth, like science, since they mainly believe in observations, senses, and experiences. The vast majority of empiricists are atheists. It is actually very rare to find a real atheist who isn't an empiricist. They are usually pretty straight forward and usually believe Earth science contains answers to anything. They usually do not believe in the external world or Theism because there is no physical proof or discovery of it. Some believe in paranormal activities though, because there are some limited sciences discovered to that subject.
A rationalist is someone who does NOT believe in senses, observations, or experiences. They believe in reason. Applying Earths sciences to the external world would be considered irrational to a rationalist. The vast majority of rationalists believe it or not are Theists because they believe in an external world. They believe in the infinite question of "why" and that Earths sciences aren't the total reason why we are here. They do not believe the physical world is the total truth, and believe senses can deceive. For example, a goldfish in a pond might believe in it's world but does not know what the rest of the external world is. Most rationalists are also humanists, which means they don't believe human discovery is the final truth and that human discovery will always change because of our senses.
An agnostic believe it or not is usually one who "sits on the fence" between rationalism and empiricism. They usually believe in both things, whereas an atheist is strictly empirical with senses and a theist is strictly rational with reason.

I'm going to be a freshman in college and I am already in the process of changing majors lol...I guess it started when I went to the bank the other week and had a sort of "I like this environment" kind of epiphany I guess. I have always been around banks since I was born really, my parents both worked in banks and still continue to work with them with their own company, so I have been to banks with my parents my whole life and around that environment, and I have always liked to go (even when I didn't have to--when I got older).
Anyways, so I was wondering what sectors there are in banking. I know there's appraisal, marketing, and finance, but I was wondering the specific job titles and responsibilities.
And I guess even more importantly, what major would I want to get in in college?
