Jeeps For Sale In Answers
Voting Question: What are the circumstances for an auctioned vehicle?
I am buying my first vehicle on my own and have ran across a Jeep Wrangler that I am interested in. After doing some extensive research online, I have found the round about price of this particular 03 model and it seems to be it is priced relatively cheap for it's specifications. Also the only report in the car fax is that the vehicle is an auctioned vehicle that I am assuming the dealership bought and that it is commented as a previous "fleet" vehicle. I am a firm believer in the saying that when something seems to good to be true that it usually is. Vehicle Specs: 03 Wrangler Sport w/ automatic transmission 42k miles 6 cylinder 4x4 w/ removable hard top small lift (looks like 1 inch) with brand new 33" tires priced at 14,950 I am not a huge fan of sales reps and I want have a good idea about the vehicle before I check it out in person. This auction deal is really throwing me off b/c I would like to get in contact with the vehicles previous owner/s. Detailed help will be greatly appreciated. The more the better. Thanks to all. moreResolved Question: Jeep Grand cherokee V8 or Inline 6 ?
For my first car my mom is going to help me buy one. Im basicly working on minimum wage atm making around 900-1200 a month. I cant save a single penny because I have to pay for grocery's and other things. I really like her 98 Grand cherokee i like the way it drives its really easy to drive the car, i love how it handels in the winter. This last winter we had 3 feet of snow twice and the car drove in it like a champ. I've been doing alot of work on the Jeep learning the engine, and other parts. Changed the sparkplugs, distributor cap and rotar, the oil, the transmission output sensor (which she neglected to fix for 10 years), the air filter stuff like that. I actually enjoy working on the car, now I plan to get a used 97-98 preferably dont really want a 93-95, I wish i could find a Jeep that has the same 2WD-4WD options as hers, but all im seeing on craigslist seem to be locked in 4WD. I want to get the V8 because it sounds better, and If i ever get into modifications or something i thinka V8 would be better. I saw alot of youtubes video's of the 5.9 and 5.2 actually drag racing and they kicked the crap out of all the other cars. The V8 with a modified exhast sounds like a beast too. However i also like the inline 6 because of it longevity and reliability that i am reading from online. Gas mileage also plays another parts as im not rich i cant afford alot of Gas. Whats the gas mileage diff between the 5.2 V8 and the 4.0 Inline 6 ? According to the electronic thing in the Jeep she gets 17MPG, altho from the math on the fuel gauge when it gets low i concluded its actually around 13Mpg with the a/c being used on and off. My mom said the V8 gets terrible gas mileage and her friend sold his along time ago because of that. So eh i dunno. What should I get ? Also when im looking at a Jeep what should i look for to see if it has mechanical problems like with the transmission and engine so i dont waste my money. How many miles is too many ? How much money is too much ? I noticed most Jeeps for sale in my area are 96's with like 200k+ miles and seem to go for around $2500 which seems too much to me. Your right a Inline 6 would probably be better. I just like the V8 sound and power. No way id get a V4 Jeep heh, i'll gladly pay more gas money for a bigger engine then that. As for a cherokee, eh i never liked the way they look. To much like a Box on wheels. Even when i was 10 years old i had a neighbor who had one and i thought it was ugly.. OK, I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty with 144000 miles on it. Insurance companies says there are $5200 damages, plus they have to figure in the towing, two weeks worth of a rental car and the replacement of my car seats. They said it's not totaled. They told me earlier in the process that they do not use Kelly Blue Book or NADA cause those figures are based on national levels. They look at what this vehicle is worth locally. Well I did research myself and what I found I can not find a liberty for sale or that was sold for much over $4900. Do I suck it up and let them fix it? It just seems stupid that they are sticking that kind of money into a vehicle when if I tried to sell it next week when it was fixed I could hardly get $4500.00 PamelaS, you are an adjuster. Where exactly does the co get the numbers from. I have a friend in the car industry who researched vehicles similar to mine that are going for 3500 - 4000 at auctions. They don't sell too many of these around her. How does the insurance co figure the fair market value....or I should say how does CCC figure it. Also, can I confront my insurance co and ask them to work with me here. Either way I don't care what happens but they will have about $6000 stuck into my vehicle. They could give me $4500. Sell it to salvage for about $1000. And save about half what they were going to pay to fix it. Am I out of line for asking this? moreResolved Question: How many miles can a Jeep Cherokee last?
I saw this 97 Jeep Cherokee for sale and its only $1800. It has 134,000 miles on it. Everything but the windshield is in good condition. Should i buy it? moreVoting Question: 1998 jeep wrangler or pickup trucks for sale?
any 1 know where i can find a 1998 jeep wrangler or 1997 jeep wrangler for sale for 2,500 or any pickup trucks for sale for that price as well that's my limit and it has to be in the new york area or surrounding states from it furthest i can go is 200 miles from ny ebay wont help and kant thonk of any other websites moreResolved Question: Retail price for rebuilt Jeep?
I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with 17.5K miles. 6 cyl. automatic, cruise, a/c, am/fm w/ CD. clean body. The problem is in 2006 the jeep was in a front end collision and was written off as a total loss. In 2007 it was salvaged and the title history shows that it had a salvage title. According to the repair records, the frame and engine were completely replaced. I've had two independent mechanics looks at it and they say other than a dent in the passenger floor panel, which is only noticeable from under the vehicle, the frame and engine are in excellent condition and they can find nothing wrong with the vehicle in it's current condition. The books say this should trade for 13K, Carfax states to deduct $2000K for a trade-in value of at least $11K, however a dealer I spoke to would only give me $7500 for it. I want to list it on CraigsList and put it out on the street for sale. Private party book value average is $14K, I'm willing to let it go for $10K. What do you all think I could realistically list it for? Thank you, Kim moreResolved Question: Should I buy this car?
There is a 96 jeep cherokee sport for sale near me. Its got 172,000 miles, in pretty good condition. No major fixes necessary, perfectly driveable, decent paint job and a four wheel drive that was rarely used. There are a few smaller engine parts that were replaced with new parts. The asking price was 1500 but i bargained down to 1000. I was ready to pull the deal, but a family member warned me that the miles on it mean that it would probably have engine and computer problems really soon. I was hoping anyone could give any personal or proffessional advice on this car and how long it might last. Also, the seller claims it gets 25 mpg, any validity to that as well? moreResolved Question: is this craigslist ad fraudulent?
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/ctd/1746039034.html on the main craigslist thing it says all offers to ship cars are fraudulent and when i sent this guy an email this is what i got back Hello, The jeep is still available and the price for 2003 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 Rubicon is $2,900. I worked for Jeep and I had access to the Jeep Employee Store. I bought it for a very low price and that's why I can afford to sell it so cheap right now. It has done 18,100 miles and has been well taken care of, always kept in the garage. It doesn't have any dents, chips or scratches and the interior is great, never smoked in. The jeep has a clear title, no liens or loans and never been in an accident. It comes with bill of sale in your name, title, owner's manual and all the keys. I was recently promoted and had to move to the Bangor, ME. I have made all the arrangements and the jeep is already prepared for shipping. You can't inspect it now and the shipping and insurance charges are included in this price. The shipping takes 2-4 days and the jeep is delivered at your home. I decided to make this transaction through eBay because I believe this protects both buyer and seller and it's the right way to do the sale. You send the money to eBay and they hold the payment until the jeep is delivered. You have 7 days to inspect the jeep and the documents. I get the money after you check the jeep and make sure everything is as agreed. If the jeep is not as described and you want to return it, I will arrange to ship it back (on my costs) and you will be 100% refunded by ebay. I'm sure you will love the jeep and will not want to return it but it's good to know that you have this option available. If you have the funds available and want to buy the jeep, I need your full name and the delivery address to inform ebay about this sale and receive the transaction details from them as soon as possible. Many thanks, Jane it seems fake to me i asked her to show me the car on ebay motors she hasnt said anything back moreResolved Question: Is 202k miles on a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee high?
I am looking at a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for sale in the classifieds and they are asking about the Kelly Blue Book value. What is the average life of a Cherokee and what are the pros and cons? moreResolved Question: there is a 1999 jeep grand cherokee for sale for 2,800 but it has 286,000km on it, good price?
it seems to be in good shape with very little rust but im just wondering if its going to break down on me with so many clicks on it or if its overpriced moreResolved Question: How to manage huge customer interest in my offer to sell my car?
This is long but I think it's interesting so give it a try: I've got a '95 Jeep Cherokee Country 4x4 auto that finally has too many problems to make it economically feasible for me to keep driving. I already bought a replacement car a month ago so the Jeep has been sitting in my driveway. Major Problems: 1) serious oil and coolant leaks, head gasket related (dealer estimate was @ $2k), cooling system has been sketchy due to the leak, but if closely maintained will run - hotter than normal but not overheat. Oil leak requires refilling every few days, and oil pressure is dodgy due to leaks. White smoke from exhaust. 2) A/C is out, not diagnosed but I wouldn't be surprised if it is busted, 3) rear brakes need work/replacing. Minor problems: rust beneath rear passenger door, rear wiper broken, rear driver power lock tempermental, a few cosmetic things. Frankly if not for the gasket/leaks, I'd just get the brakes fixed and keep driving the car, but given all that's wrong w/it I posted it as a "mechanics special" - recommending it be used for parts/project, detailing the major problems. It's got airbags, premium rims, fairly new michelins, good parts. Listed for $500 obo on Craiglist last nite. WELL - I got ALOT of interest, mostly from mechanics thinking they can fix the gasket and then drive the car. Over 10 inquiries in the 1st 3 hrs, 20+ now. The first few callers wanted to see the car, so I said I'd show it Saturday. These people said they'd call me Saturday. A couple people offered me $500 on the spot (phone) sight unseen (besides the pics on CL). Thing is - based on all my talks with the responders to the ad - I honestly think I may well end up getting more than $500 for the car come Saturday - so I am declining the $500 verbal over the phone offers. Obviously there's a whole bird in hand v. bird in bush thing here - but a verbal offer over the phone doesn't mean much either - could be just a ploy to see the car first and not get caught up in a bidding war. I figure that even if the Saturday showing ends up failing - I figure I have lost nothing by not taking these 'bird in hand' verbal offers. If they truly would take the car for $500 sight unseen today, why would they not still do it tomorrow evening? And with all the interest even if Sat. fails I am pretty sure now that I can get $500 for it, either from the people who have already verbally offered or if I post it again I can just accept such an offer on the spot. Am I doing the right thing? I was caught a little off guard by all the responses but I think the right thing to do is to show the car one day and give myself the opportunity to get a better bid than $500. Oh- and a scammer replied too - saying he was vacationing in London but would have his assistant send me a moneygram. I replied "cash only inperson sale" moreResolved Question: How to manage huge customer interest in my used car for sale?

I know this sounds absolutely absurd, but here's what happened: I made an appointment to get my Jeep inspected. I made a point to check things over myself before I went. The "check engine" light was definitely NOT on, and never had been before, in the four years that I've owned it. I went to the inspection. My mechanic looked everything over, and said my tires needed to be replaced due to cracking and wear. Before I left, I asked "Is that definitely all I need for the sticker?" He asked his co-worker (who was checking things inside the vehicle) if the check engine light was on. The buddy yelled "Nope". He said we wouldn't have to do an emissions test then, and to simply come back with my new tires for the sticker. The same day I drove directly to Sears and bought four new tires. I had to wait for about an hour while they mounted and balanced them. That was all I was there for. I left with my new tires and just a couple miles down the road I noticed my "check engine" light was on. Surprised and confused, I pulled over and called Sears and told the sales guy who had helped me. He of course explained that changing tires wouldn't cause the check engine light to come on, as if I was a ditzy woman. I said I know that isn't logical, but thought the technician might have done SOMETHING, I don't know what, while working with my vehicle that could have possibly caused the light to come on. He mumbled something about maybe it came on because the door was open too long, which made me wonder who the ditz really was, and then offered no explanation, saying it couldn't be anything they did and hung up. I realize this sounds weird, but it's just too coincidental that the light would happen to come on five minutes after being in the technician's hands when it's NEVER been on before. And I have to go back for my re-inspection tomorrow and don't want him to see the light on and open a can of worms. I could barely afford the tires. I'm sorry this was so long, but does anybody have any clue how this could have happened? Or how I can get the "check engine" light to go back out? There has to be an explanation for this, it's just too coincidental. Thank you! moreResolved Question: Does anyone know how/where i could rent a Jeep unlimited Rubicon (4door) in chicago?

Chrysler's Railroad This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton 'so Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straits and federal government "graciously" offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, "Too big to fail," same story with GM. The feds organized their "Automotive Task Force" to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House's official Car Czar - literally, that's what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM.. Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler had made this list of dealerships. That is not true. The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox New and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the "Automotive Task Force" headed by no one other than Mr Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens. Remember earlier we said that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed? Actually there's a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection. Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government, 788 had donated money, exclusively to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only "Democratic" dealership on the list was found to have donated $7,700 to Hillary's campaign, and a bit over $2,000 to John Edwards. This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $200.00 to Obama's campaign. Does that seem a little odd to you? Steve Rattner is the guy who put the list together. Well, he happens to be married to a Maureen White. Maureen happens to be the former national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. As such, she has access to campaign donation records from everyone in the nation, Republican or Democrat. But of course, this is just a wacky "coincidence," we're certain. Then comes another really wacky "coincidence." On that list of dealerships being closed down, a weird thing happened in Arkansas , North Louisiana, and Southern Missouri . It seems that Bill Clinton's former White House Chief of Staff, Mack McClarty, owns a chain of dealership in that region, partnered with a fellow by the name of Robert Johnson Johnson happens to be founder of Black Entertainment Television and was a huge Obama supporter and financier. These guys own a half dozen Chrysler stores under the company title of RLJ-McClarty-Landers. Interestingly, none of their dealerships were ordered closed - not one! While all of their competing Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep dealership were! Eight dealerships located near the dealerships owned by McClarty and Johnson were ordered shut down. Thus by pure luck, these two major Obama supporters now have virtual monopoly on Chrysler sales in their zone. Isn't that amazing? Go look in The Washington Examiner, the story's there, and it's in a dozen or so other web-based news organizations; this isn't being made up. Now if you thought Chrysler was owned by Fiat, you are mistaken. Under the federal court ruling, 65% of Chrysler is now owned by the federal government and the United Auto Workers union-Fiat owns 20%. The other 15% is still privately owned and presumably will be traded on the stock market. Obama smiles and says he doesn't want to run the auto industry. As horrifying as this is to comprehend, and being as how this used to be the United States of America , it would appear that the president has the power to destroy private businesses and eliminate upwards of 100,000 jobs just because they don't agree with his political agenda. This is Nazi Germany stuff, and it's happening right here, right now, in our back yard. There are voices in Washington demanding an explanation, but the "Automotive Task Force" has released no information to the public or to any of the senators demanding answers for what has been done. Keep your ear to the ground for more on this story. If you've ever wanted to make a difference about anything in your life, get on the phone to your national senator or representative in the House and demand an investigation into this. Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, "All that's necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Car Czar No More An amazing thing happened as this story was going to press. Obama's Car Czar, Steve Rattner, resigned on July 13 and was promptly replaced by former steel workers union boss Ron Bloom. According to CBS News, BTW: No one complains when tax-payers who contribute all their lives to support the government have bad periods and receive subsistence. Likewise, shouldn't the government help industries in an HONEST manner who gave billions and made it strong? moreResolved Question: What years of 4.0 engines will fit my 96 cherokee?

I live in NY and I drew up a sales contract stating verbatum " I ms jane doe give mrs. jane doe 3 business days to have her mechanic look over said vehicle. If there is any motor, electrical or structural repairs needed to the vehicle over $500.00 I will refund $1100.00 by Wed March 24" Well needless to say Wed morning my mechanic called me after having the car for two days and asked me to come down to the shop. He had noticed that when the engine got hot the oil pressure dropped to zero while in idle. I was told that is caused by worn bearings and or the crank shaft and it would basically cost the same to repair as it would to drop a new engine in the car. OF COURSE I called her immediately after talking to the mechanic told her I was bringing the car back and would like cash not a check since I paid in cash. Needless to say she is telling me that its my fault and I did it etc blahblahblah go ahead sue me I will have 5 mechanics show up saying it was fine when I sold it to you etc yadda yadda. Well about 8 hours later she was saying how she would give me $400 back and hook me up with someone that could put the engine in cheap. B>S> not happening..... My question....If I go ahead and drop a new engine can I sue her for 1/2 the repairs? And have a shot winning..... My evidence: *video of the time lapse it takes to engine to get hot *statement from my mechanic with his findings *statement from a major jeep dealership mechanics diagnostic (saying same thing as my mechanic) *statements from autozone (i know not dep but that was my first stop when i was headed to the dealership just wanted someones opinion after my mechanics) *5 signed original copies of not only a sales agreement but also a bill of sale w/ exact verbatum of her agreeing and if she disagreed she would concent to all costs etc for being sued *3 estimates of the cost/parts that the jeep needed *All of my texts asking for my money and all of her texts ranging from it was my fault and fk off, to she would give me 400 back and take the jeep, then she would give me $200 and keep the jeep, then the final one at $400 back and I can keep the jeep moreVoting Question: i'm trying to find a light kit on a Jeep that's mounted behind the front wheels, low on fenders.?

My 1982 Jeep Wagoneer was towed last Thursday (3-11-2010). I have no knowledge as to why it was towed, other than it was done by my city police traffic cops. I had just bought it 3 days before, and I know for a fact I have 10 days to register it by law. I have a bill of sale, but it's in the Jeep because the stupid volunteer traffic cop refused to let em get the paperwork form the glove box, and she refused to get it herself. all she would say is that I'm not the registered owner, and that it's being towed for that reason. Is there anything I can do to get it back? I know the process I have to do, I mean to avoid any charges from the towing yard because there going to charge me an arm and a leg. We did find something wrong which is a $450 repair! They said it isn't covered! I have read about implied warranties and was wondering if this would stand up for this situation? We have only had it a week!!!! Other than that it's a great vehicle. moreResolved Question: Ford 9" axle in a Jeep Wrangler?

my husband has an '05 wrangler, soft top, plastic window in the back, which we use as our secondary car. he picks up our daughter from daycare everyday and that's pretty much it. i hate when she has to ride in the wrangler, so i want her safe, but don't want to spend a ton on money on a secondary car sear. my daughter is about to turn 2 and is 25lbs and about 32". right now she is rearfacing in a Britax Roundabout, which is about to expire, so I want to get a new seat, but one that will last. she is pretty small for her age. 1. Any suggestions on a seat? I'm considering a Maxi Cosi Priori (top pick bcuz of good customer reviews, good sale price); a Graco MyRide 65 and a Britax Marathon. Would love input, especially on the Maxi Cosi--a lot of people are saying their kids grew out of it quickly. 2. While I know the back seat and rear facing is safest, is it safest in this kind of vehicle? Would she be safer rear facing in the front w/ the air bag turned off, or forward facing in the back, or should I keep her rear facing in the back? moreResolved Question: I got ripped off and have the evidence to proove it, but Do I have case worth taking to civil court?
Ok bare with me as I try and paint the picture. Im in the army and had sold my vehicle to a man in HIgher rank than I. The agreement was $3000. We went to the Equity LOAN Company which could only give $2500 max and he was to pay me the remaining $500 that day. So we get the loan after signing over the title in his name (mistake) but legally its the loan company's vehicle til he pays them back. After that we go to his bank which is closed. So he told me he'll pay me the rest Monday. So I drop him off and right him a bill of sale but in it I only state that, " I (my name) have sold (his name) a jeep (its brand) AS IS on this date". I never put how much was givin or owed. (now i no better). Ahyh monday comes and he asks if I can wait til payday, him and his wife had issues. Well payday comes and I text him. And its his wife, who states this is not a man to man deal that shes moreless in charge. Now this lady talks too much and she speaks for her husband. So my wife takes over and trys to negotiate. So its woman to woman now cuz I cant get to this guy. She text my wife in several messages that they will pay us, and there not going to rip us off. So they plan, that we'll swing by there house and get the rest of my money the following week because MORE ISSUES have come up. K now im getting irritated and Im strictly going off of this mans integraty, mind you the army has different laws than civilians. That day comes and again another reason comes up, So I voice record the conversation. I get them BOTH on recording talking about this money they owe me and that they would pay me in full on Feb 1, the army payday. Later on as the day goes buy this lady texts us that "the back light is out on the jeep and if it cost a fur tune shes not going to pay us our money cuz its bullshit." So I text her, them giving me the run around and not paying me is whats Bullshit. Then she Carry's on about how theirs nothing we can do cause we already signed the title over, and say the deal was $2500. Things get heated I called the military police (m.ps) They suggest to take this to the guys Sargent Major. So I do. I start collecting evidence 1st, so I went back to the LOAN company and had 2 workers right me witness statements about the deal they over heard for $3000. I also e-mail ALL the text messages from my phone and print them out, and I take my voice recording with me to this guys Sargent Major. So we're all in a room and HE has no idea what I got on him. So he begans to lie. Saying, "the deal was only 2500 idk what this guys talking about". Then I whoop out my evidence and put him on the spot. So I proove hes a lier in front of the Major. So theres a witness. But the major explains that he's in no Legal position to make him pay and tells me to go to JAG, a law office on post. I go there, talk with a lawyer who tells me laws are different with soldiers and theres a policy in the "books" that states a man of high rank cannot owe or borrow money from a soldier of lesser rank, weatherit be purchased property or damaged. He prints of the the papers and tells me to take it to Dudes cCommanderand that the commander has the authority to make him pay. (what a run around). SO I meet with yet again the MAJOR and now his COMMANDER. So again we're all in a room, I show him my evidence and then the Skum bag tells them that ya he owes me money but he found problems with the jeep lights and he'll get it fixed then pay me the difference. Again thats me having to go off his word, I tell them. And the cCommander explains legally he cant make him pay me so take it to civil court. Ok with all those witnesses, text msgs, voice notes, and maybe him admitting to it, Do I have a case? Should I bother. It is $500 bucks moreResolved Question: What year jeep is the best?
I really want to buy a jeep for my first car, and I've been looking at some online. I just bought my Jeep a few months ago. The person before me must have had it up for sale for a long time because if you look in the right light you can see "4 SALE" on the back window with car paint. Here's the problem. It's not like i can get it off really easy. The paint is seriously like IN the window... everywhere. You can only notice it if you look really closely. But the yellow, blue, and white paint literally looks like it's inside the window. Imagine a ton of little tiny white blue and yellow dots all over my back window. And i don't know how I will be able to get it out. I've tried windex and a rag of course. Even a razorblade. Nothing... Can someone PLEASE help me... moreVoting Question: Has anyone else bought pilot 7 color led dome lights?

I don't know that much about cars, so I'm hoping that some experts or experienced people that have been taken to the bank before and learned a valuable lesson can help me. I've recently lost my job, and receive unemployment, but it's not as much as my full time job paid of course. So, our 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee isn't as affordable as it was at one time. Currently, we have a payoff amount of $21,364.28. I am simply going by KKB.com. This is the first time that I have ever purchased a car from a dealer and didn't have my parents to co - sign for me, and I'm not all that sure on how it all works, if ever, in the favor of the consumer. I realize that's not the point of retail! Now, according to KBB.com for the same car, the trade in value would be $1,141.28 less than what the payoff amount is. That would mean that we'd be upside down and they'd tack that amount onto the new car that we traded in on. Is there any way around this? The suggested retail amount for my car is $24,790.00. Since people aren't buying cars as much these days, and I would be buying from that dealer, do you think it's possible to get the difference cut additionally from the new car that I buy, or simply ask for a higher amount on my trade? Considering that they will still make a profit from my trade, and a sale? --- I was thinking that I could get them all hyped up about me buying another car now, and wanting to trade my car in, and making them think that I am irrational and impulsive, wait for them to slash the price of the car, as they always do, and then hit them with the extra. I figured if I did that though, they'd laugh at me and ask me if I wanted a job because I'm not getting the new car! LOL Any other advice that you have that I haven't mentioned would be appreciated regarding buying, selling and trading cars. Thanks so much! The "idea" is to get out of being upside down. Getting "less of a car" and still paying for the Jeep is ridiculous. That's not an option. And, it isn't the gas that I'm concerned about --- it's the monthly payment. Maybe I wasn't clear in what I was asking. The goal is to not be upside down any longer and have the ability to start over fresh, since I'm not that upside down, currently. Now, if I go and get a car that is worth the trade in amount, the dealership is going to tack on that additional amount to my bottom line and finance that as well ---- goal is -- NO UPSIDE DOWN AMOUNT TACKED ONTO NEW LOAN. I want it liquidated. Is there a way to do this? moreResolved Question: 1996 grand cherokee 5.2 transmission compatibility?

Dream 1. I was searching for a photo camera, in an old shop, it had shelves, and they contained a bunch of old papers and books, they were bursting, they were very messy too, then an elderly woman (she was the sales girl) had a piece of cardboard on the table which said ( $5 and $10) and i was asking her how much a pink camera was, and she said it was $5, i was in this shop with my friend btw. The old lady, had a neat bun and she was wearing a loose green shirt, and brown linen pants, she had wrinkled skin but she looked really kind, then I chose the pink camera, and i payed her the money, and just as we were about to leave this young woman jumped inside screaming wildly, and she started attacking the poor old woman, the old woman started beating her with a stick. then the dream stopped and i woke up. Dream 2. I found myself in a nightclub and everything was dark and the club was very crowded, i was dressed in a very tarty outfit. a Male placed his hand on my lower back and he was smiling at me. There was an absolute darkness in there, and alot of noise and people, Green lazers too. Then i found myself in a Jeep, in the backseat, talking to Ciara (the hip hop artist) and she was dressed in black and a blue tie. she looked relaxed and she was smiling at me. then suddently i found myself in a party where everybody was dressed in red, the people where all brunettes dancing in red short dresses they looked happy also. Dream 3. I was at home with my eldest sister, The house seemed quite and peaceful, the balconies were closed, then suddently i open the balcony and sunlight comes through, i stand in the balcony admiring the sun and right next to me there was a window and i saw a big pig coming out of it. it wasnt flying or anything it was just there, half outside and half inside. it looked ugly. then i closed the balcony and my sister opened it, i kept closing and she kept opening, but i was disgusted because whenever i open it i see the pig. Dream 4. I was chatting on my computer, outside the sun was setting, then i look over my shoulder and i see the curtain (on it) where 5 scorpions, they weren't big or anything but they looked horrible. i got scared and tried to shake them off the curtain, but no use.. then i went out into the other balcony and i saw a black spider with very long legs and a red head coming towards me, walking sideways, i started panicking, then suddently i find myself in an empty room, all white and i start to choke and i cough up blood. Dream 5. The sun was setting, and i was sitting in a limosine with a swedish girl, i was talking in swedish too (i dont remember what i said) the girl had blonde haiir and she looked incredibly young, then the sky turned into a cobalt blue, and there were alot of stars in the sky. back at home my mum was dressed in a purple dress and she was barefoot sitting in the balcony, she told me to leave before its 8 o'clock. then me and the swedish girl, we left in a limosine, but this time there were 2 guys with her. Dream 6. i walked into a bar, walked down a few steps and i see this guy i dated a couple of times, he smiles at me and tells me he has cancer, he tells me this news and he is not bothered by it at all, infact he was smiling. then i went off to a bathroom, it was big and white, and this blonde woman with curls and a black coat came in and told me, forget the past you don't need it, and she tore a black and white photograph and she flushed it down the toilet. then she gave me an apple. Dream 7. i was on the bus with 2 men, next to my house one of them was wearing a thick red framed glasses, the other one i do not remember his face. as the bus was moving i was screaming HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME, i was more crying them than actually screaming them with rage or anger, i felt helpless. Dream 8. Me and my mother were in the middle of nowehere. with only 1 shop in sight. my mom decided to buy food, she comes out with a brown bag.. We both drive off and come near a deserted haunted house, i felt an extreme sense of fearmy heart was pouding in my ears, i start begging my mom not to go in there, but she doesnt listen to me, i keep begging her, i say please around a 50 times.. but for nothing, coz she went in, then i heard a scream, i tried to peer thro the window but no use, the piece of iron that was under my feet collapsed and i fell in a hole. this dream scared me so much i spent my whole day in a horrible mood. Dream 9. im walking in a forest with a guy, he had a tanned skin.. then suddently in the sticky soil i see a bright yellow really long and thick cobra moving around. it didnt harm us or anything, the guy smiles at me. Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes. You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television. Oak trees do not produce acorns until they are 50 years of age or older. In New Hampshire (my state) in order to register a vehicle you need a bill of sale and the title if it's a privately owned vehicle newer than the year 2000. My brother recently purchased a vehicle from a friend private sale. She wrote him up a bill of sale and gave him the keys. He's had the jeep now for 2 months. He keeps asking her for the title and she keeps saying "I'm trying to find it" etc, excuse after excuse. Yesterday, she pitched a fit and said she wanted the jeep back; now he can't have it. Does she have a legal right to do so? They wrote up a legal bill of sale and both signed it. My brother just put a ton of work into it this week and fixed it up (needed work) and now she is saying she has the legal right to take it back since he doesn't have the title. He has messages in with lawyers but figured I'd see if anyone knew in here in the meantime. Thanks. She was the legal owner. Sorry if that wasn't clear. moreResolved Question: Which of these cars should I get? (or suggestions)?
In a year I'll be buying my own car.. I want something decently fuel efficient and I would like a convertible, although thats not a necessity for under three thousand dollars. Right now my dream car is a Volkswagen Cabrio (98 or 99) for about 2300/ I know volkswagens are supposed to last, and its a cute car. But.. theres this 98 black Geo Tracker (convertible, tiny jeep wranger looking thing) for sale nearby for only 1800... Its pretty cool looking, but I'm concerned that Geo doesn't exist any more.. where would I bring it for repairs? and im concerned if this is a good car, not just for off roading, but more city driving... So which car should I choose> VW Cabrio or Geo Tracker? Or any suggestions would be helpful Thanks in advance! moreResolved Question: What do the Saudis think of British Muslim's article on Saudi Arabia?
http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/books/book_extracts/article1685726.ece The newspapers' extracts from the link above. " HOW A BRITISH JIHADI SAW THE LIGHT. Ed Hussain, once a proponent of radical Islam in London, tells how his time as a teacher in Saudi Arabia led him to turn against extremism During our first two months in Jeddah, Faye and I relished our new and luxurious lifestyle: a shiny jeep, two swimming pools, domestic help, and a tax-free salary. The luxury of living in a modern city with a developed infrastructure cocooned me from the frightful reality of life in Saudi Arabia. My goatee beard and good Arabic ensured that I could pass for an Arab. But looking like a young Saudi was not enough: I had to act Saudi, be Saudi. And here I failed. My first clash with Saudi culture came when, being driven around in a bulletproof jeep, I saw African women in black abayas tending to the rubbish bins outside restaurants, residences and other busy places. “Why are there so many black cleaners on the streets?” I asked the driver. The driver laughed. “They’re not cleaners. They are scavengers; women who collect cardboard from all across Jeddah and then sell it. They also collect bottles, drink cans, bags.” “You don’t find it objectionable that poor immigrant women work in such undignified and unhygienic conditions on the streets?” “Believe me, there are worse jobs women can do.” Though it grieves me to admit it, the driver was right. In Saudi Arabia women indeed did do worse jobs. Many of the African women lived in an area of Jeddah known as Karantina, a slum full of poverty, prostitution and disease. A visit to Karantina, a perversion of the term “quarantine”, was one of the worst of my life. Thousands of people who had been living in Saudi Arabia for decades, but without passports, had been deemed “illegal” by the government and, quite literally, abandoned under a flyover. A non-Saudi black student I had met at the British Council accompanied me. “Last week a woman gave birth here,” he said, pointing to a ramshackle cardboard shanty. Disturbed, I now realised that the materials I had seen those women carrying were not always for sale but for shelter. I had never expected to see such naked poverty in Saudi Arabia. At that moment it dawned on me that Britain, my home, had given refuge to thousands of black Africans from Somalia and Sudan: I had seen them in their droves in Whitechapel. They prayed, had their own mosques, were free and were given government housing. Many Muslims enjoyed a better lifestyle in non-Muslim Britain than they did in Muslim Saudi Arabia. At that moment I longed to be home again. All my talk of ummah seemed so juvenile now. It was only in the comfort of Britain that Islamists could come out with such radical utopian slogans as one government, one ever expanding country, for one Muslim nation. The racist reality of the Arab psyche would never accept black and white people as equal. Standing in Karantina that day, I reminisced and marvelled over what I previously considered as wrong: mixed-race, mixed-religion marriages. The students to whom I described life in modern multi-ethnic Britain could not comprehend that such a world of freedom, away from “normal” Saudi racism, could exist. Racism was an integral part of Saudi society. My students often used the word “nigger” to describe black people. Even dark-skinned Arabs were considered inferior to their lighter-skinned cousins. I was living in the world’s most avowedly Muslim country, yet I found it anything but. I was appalled by the imposition of Wahhabism in the public realm, something I had implicitly sought as an Islamist. Part of this local culture consisted of public institutions being segregated and women banned from driving on the grounds that it would give rise to “licentiousness”. I was repeatedly astounded at the stares Faye got from Saudi men and I from Saudi women. Faye was not immodest in her dress. Out of respect for local custom, she wore the long black abaya and covered her hair in a black scarf. In all the years I had known my wife, never had I seen her appear so dull. Yet on two occasions she was accosted by passing Saudi youths from their cars. On another occasion a man pulled up beside our car and offered her his phone number. In supermarkets I only had to be away from Faye for five minutes and Saudi men would hiss or whisper obscenities as they walked past. When Faye discussed her experiences with local women at the British Council they said: “Welcome to Saudi Arabia.” After a month in Jeddah I heard from an Asian taxi driver about a Filipino worker who had brought his new bride to live with him in Jeddah. After visiting the Balad shopping district the couple caught a taxi home. Some way through their journey the Saudi driver complained that the car was not working properly and perhaps the man @trancinguy. You wrote: "I heard your queen mum likes to invade countries and steal its wealth.." You assume I am from Uk. Contrarily, I am from Ireland, a country that was once invaded by the British and oppressed by its government. The Irish lost more than lands and wealth to Britain, but their lives as well. The Irish not only lost their children, also their wives and daughters to overseas brothels. Stolen Irish children and women were forcibly deported to foreign countries, many never seeing their families again. moreResolved Question: Yahoo autos third party service fraud?
Heres another one from this guy, got this one about a motorcycle Hi, This is how it works. I will initiate the transaction using the terms below and your details for shipping. Yahoo Autos will contact you with further instructions about what you need to do. You will send the funds in escrow to Yahoo Autos. They will hold in trust the funds and advise me to ship to your address. You will get the bike and test drive it, inspect it etc for 3 days. After that you will have to confirm with Yahoo Autos that you like it and I will get paid at that time. If you don't like it you will get your money back in full and I will get my bike back and try to find another possible buyer. This will be at no cost for you so it's your decision. If you're ok with that just send me your details so I can initiate the transaction. I will need the following details from you: - your full name (first and last name) - your shipping address (street, city, state, zip code) - your contact phone number (home or cell) Before you send me your details you'll first have to review and accept the terms of this third party transaction: - shipping and paperwork will be handled by DAS Auto Shippers - after you receive the car you will have 3 business days for inspection - I will pay for the shipping fees - I will pay for the Yahoo Autos fees - total price you have to pay is $2900 Regards, Charles Tyson &n bsp; ------- and heres another one Sorry for this late reply but I was unable to check my e-mail until now. The car is in good running condition and comes with a clear title. There is no lien on it there will be no monthly payments no take over payments just final price. It's a non smoker car with zero mechanical/electrical problems no damages or accidents. I am looking to sell it right away for $2900 (shipping and title transfer fees included). There is a reason for selling it for such a low price but it's just something personal that has nothing to do with the car's condition and I'm not willing to discuss it so please don't ask. I would like to use a third party service to handle this transaction for our both safety and comfort. Yahoo Autos offers a third party service of course for a small fee. I have applied and I'm willing to pay for their fee if you agree using their service. I'm currently stationed in Camp Bucca Southern Iraq had nobody back home that could help me with the sale so I've left the car at the Yahoo Autos Depot and they will take care of the shipping/payment. If you are interested please go to autos.yahoo.com and click the sign up link in order to register (activate your e-mail account too) then get back to me with you user id so I can contact Yahoo and ask them to provide you the details about the transaction process.
