moreResolved Question: BESIDES HISTORICAL ERRORS WHAT ARE THE SOURCES?
What are the sources of the Koran?
The answer PAGANISM, THE TALMUD, THE APOCRYPHA, AND OTHER BOOKS OF FABLES AND LEGENDS!
Meccan Arabs went on to say that the Qur'an was nothing but the fairy-tales of the ancients (Sura al-An`am 6:25).
Sura 25:5 it says that the unbelievers say: "...tales of the ancients he hath put in writing! And they are dictated to him morn and even.
"Of a truth, it is they who have put forward an iniquity and falsehood" (Sura 25:4).
As we have always seen, that muslims accuse everyone except themselves, we also see that the one who inspired to write this book HAS THE SAME MENTALITY.
Furthermore,
Unlike the Apocryphal works, rejected by the jewish leaders before 70A.D.,
the Pseudepigrapha have, for the most part NEVER been classed by the early church as a whole as inspired works. A few exceptions are true during the early history of the Christian church, but universal acceptance of them was never realized.
Let us see from where did uthman copy and who misguided people about the God of Moses, Abraham, etc?
Just as Pakistan is claiming Kashmir and is shown in their history books, just as india says kashmir is theirs, just as there is dispute betwen almost every gulf country claiming islands belonging to them, just as sadam invaded kuwait saying that part is theirs, just as there are conflicts between countires claiming that land is their land, in the similar fashion in the History of Islam and Arabs has published book claiming it is from god, when it is clearly saying its a history book and this history is very clearly coming with a TWIST in black and white.
v Creation of Adam, Fall of Satan – Quran copies from Gospel of Bartholomew.
v Betrothal of Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ – Quran copies from Gospel of Birth of Mary
v Activities of Jesus while a Child: Speaking in Cradle & Miracles – Quran copies from Gospel of infancy
v Christian doctrine of the Tri–Unity of God (Trinity) – Quran copies from Gospel of Hebrew.
FURTHER SOURCES OF QURAN
-Alexander the Great as we have seen come from the “Romance of Alexander.”
-The Seven Heavens in Sura 17:46; 23:88; 41:11; 65:12, comes from the Indo-Iranian sources in both Hindu and Zoroastrian scriptures.
-In Sura 7:44, there is mention of a wall called Aaraf. This comes from the Jewish Midrash.
-Suras 15:17; 37:7; 67:5 we find Satan listening stealthily and being driven away with stones. This story we find in Jewish writings, about Genii “listening behind the curtain in order to gain knowledge of what is to come.”
-Cain and Abel (Sura 5:35) resembles the Mishna Sandhedrin 4:5. The conversation of Cain and Abel is taken from the Targrum of Jerusalem.
-The DENIAL OF CRUCIFIXTION OF JESUS,
see Sura 4-157-158,
comes from the “Apocryphal book Travels of the Apostles,” see Abdul-Haqq Sharing your Faith with a Muslim, pp.130-139 for a full study.
v Several fiction history; Quran copied events which are otherwise fictious in nature and considered as historical fact, how do you know you can rely upon its other claims about God, Isa, and your own relationship with Him?
When mohammad was looking for EXTERNAL SUPPORT FOR HIS CLAIMS in the Quran, he turned to the Christians and Jews of his time and when he found there was NO support for this falsehood, he declared that his allah said muslims must not
not make friends with CHRITIANS AND JEWS.
worst of belivers are JEWS
Volume 4, Book 54, Number 524
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "A group of Israelites were lost. Nobody knows what they did. But I do not see them except that they were cursed and changed into RATS.
According to Sura 22:52 devil is also guiding Muslim Prophets.
Finally
So woe to those who write the books with their own hands, then say, "This is from God ," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they EARN. (Quran 2:79)
moreResolved Question: Why we never speak about racism outside western countries ?
I m french, and since I m young I hear everytime about racism. There are big prevention against that everywhere in my country and I think in most of european countries. Nowadays there are many laws to prohibit it.
I am now in India since few months, and it's my 4th time in India. And here, most of the people have no respect for foreigners (not all foreigners, principally white foreigners). Per exemple, I wanted to change my money in many famous bank in India. I tryed about 10 banks in 3 city...and impossible! Even so my indian friend can change the same currency in this same bank... Another exemple, when we go to a shop, and we ask to the seller something, all indian people who arrive after come in front of you, and ask something to the seller, as if we are not here! One more exemple, we met sometimes, child baby, like 1 year old. They don't really know how to speak their language, but when they see a white people in the street, all this child are shouting "allo allo! english! allo!". And more and more exemple...
So, I want to ask (especially in there are some Indians from England etc) what will happen if I will shouting in the street in France or England, "Namaste Namaste, hey indian, namaste", to the people who looks like Indian ? And if I will teach that to my baby ? What is this education ?
Also, since I m in India, more than 100 persons took a picture of me without asking me before. And to joke with their friends about our face, our differences. And we see in the travel guide book to don't take photo of local people without authorization. But, who is taking picture ???
Most of the time, people in the street look us and joke/laugh at us. If this behaviour will happen in France, there will be fight in the street everytime. Because foreigner (or people who have different skin color) don't want we show us everytime in the street and to joke about their differences,..etc etc
So, I think we speak a lot about racism in Europe, but maybe more racist people are outside europe. In Marocco, my friend was insulting of racist because he didn't want to buy a tourist souvenir. Same experience for my sister in Senegal. But racism is not if you want buy something or not! Or when the teacher say to a pupil (from african origin): don't do this mistake, or this stupid behaviour! Because it's happen like that in France, everything who come from white people to foreigners is racism. But, this people who are immigrate in Europe, do they look what's happen in their own country? How do you welcome the foreigner ?
I really would like an answer from Indian in western country.
Racism is everywhere on the earth. But although we try to change that and to progress about that in western country, the other country forget, and hide the truth!

moreResolved Question: A belief that Jesus survived the crucifixion and spent his remaining years in Kashmir ?
A belief that Jesus survived the crucifixion and spent his remaining years in Kashmir has led to a run-down shrine in Srinagar making it firmly onto the must-visit-in India tourist trail.
Rozabal shrine, Srinagar
Jesus is reputed to be buried in this run-down shrine in the Kashmir capital
In the backstreets of downtown Srinagar is an old building known as the Rozabal shrine.
It's in a part of the city where the Indian security forces are on regular patrol, or peering out from behind check-posts made of sandbags.
There are still occasional clashes with militants or stone-throwing children, but the security situation has improved in recent times and the tourists are returning.
When I first searched for Rozabal two years ago, the taxi circled around a minor Muslim tomb in a city of many mosques and mausoleums, the driver asking directions several times before we found it.
The shrine, on a street corner, is a modest stone building with a traditional Kashmiri multi-tiered sloping roof.
A watchman led me in and encouraged me to inspect the smaller wooden chamber within, with its trellis-like, perforated screen.
Through the gaps I could see a gravestone covered with a green cloth.
When I returned to the shrine recently though, it was shut - its gate padlocked because it had attracted too many visitors.
The reason? Well, according to an eclectic combination of New Age Christians, unorthodox Muslims and fans of the Da Vinci Code, the grave contains the mortal remains of a candidate for the most important visitor of all time to India.
'Crazy professor'
Officially, the tomb is the burial site of Youza Asaph, a medieval Muslim preacher - but a growing number of people believe that it is in fact the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth.
Map showing location of Srinagar
They believe that Jesus survived the crucifixion almost 2,000 Easters ago, and went to live out his days in Kashmir.
"What else could they do? They had to close it," Riaz told me.
His family home almost overlooks the shrine, and he is witheringly dismissive of the notion that Jesus was buried there.
"It's a story spread by local shopkeepers, just because some crazy professor said it was Jesus's tomb. They thought it would be good for business. Tourists would come, after all these years of violence.
"And then it got into the Lonely Planet, and too many people started coming.
"And one foreigner…" he gave me an apologetic look, "broke off a bit from the tomb to take home with him. So that's why it's closed now."
On cue, a couple of unwashed and exhausted Australians appeared, carrying the latest edition of the Lonely Planet travel guide to India, which, sure enough, carried the tale of Jesus's tomb, with some caveats about crackpots and blasphemy.
They asked me to take a photo of them outside the shrine - but were not desperately disappointed that it was closed.
The tomb of Jesus was just another place to tick off on their tourist-in-India must-visit list.
Famous meeting
Buddhist monastery, Srinagar
The remains of a Buddhist monastery which some believe Jesus visited
The ruins of a Buddhist monastery in a spectacular location halfway up a mountainside north of Srinagar are not, yet, mentioned in the Lonely Planet.
It's a spot that I had previously been unable to visit, because as a senior police officer told me, it was "infested with terrorists".
But the watchman now seemed prepared for the arrival of mass tourism, with his 50 words of English, and his hidden stock of ancient terracotta tiles for sale.
He informed me that Jesus was among the religious leaders who attended a famous Buddhist meeting here in AD80, and even pointed to the place where he sat.
The stories of Jesus in India are not just aimed at gullible tourists - they date back to the 19th Century.
They were part of attempts to explain the striking similarities between Christianity and Buddhism, a matter of great concern to 19th Century scholars - and also a desire among some Christians to root the story of Jesus in Indian soil.
Missing years
There is talk of the missing years of Jesus, unmentioned in the gospels, when he was between the ages of 12 and 30.
Woman kisses statuette of Jesus, in Srinagar Cathedral
Christians form a little more than 2% of India's population
Some say he was in India, picking up Buddhist ideas. These aren't notions that have entirely died out.
The US-based Christian sect, known as the Church Universal and Triumphant, is the best-known modern supporter of the belief that Jesus lived in Kashmir, though they don't believe he died there.
And in Islam, in which Jesus is the penultimate prophet, there is also a minority tradition adopted by the controversial Ahmeddiya sect, that Rozabal does contain the grave of Jesus.
Professional historians tend to laugh out loud when you mention the notion that Jesus might have lived in Kashmir - but his tomb is now firmly on the tourist trai

I was working in Bahrain till this January.last year sept I lost my job and found a new job in Bahrain and joined over there. After 3 months, because of crisis that company could not do their job and ministry terminated that company from the contract. This is happened when I was in India on holiday. moreResolved Question: What are some tips you would give to someone who want to travel to India for the first time?
I planned to go to Kochi in April. Got some organised tours arranged so at least I am covered for sight seeing and where to stay. Will be doing some backwaters tours as well.
what I would like to know is:
1) Is communication going to be an issue? It is often said that English is widely spoken, but in real terms, say, if I just want to go to a local supermarket to get some toothpaste and buy a few bottles of water, would there be a problem?
2) using atms and exchanging travellers cheques. Anything I need to know? Are there exchange places readily available or do I have to go to a bank?
3) While I am careful about scams and personal safety, are there any tips I should know that may be specific to travelling in India? (eg - only used a certain type of taxi? What about public transport? Do people approach foreign tourist on the street trying to sell stuff ? etc?)
4 - any particular customs I should be aware of (eg - taking photos of buildings, of people? Any tips about local law enforcement? are there tourist police? Are the police trustworthy?)
I do have a copy of the Lonely planet guide, but I am also trying to find out as much as I can from other sources about travelling to India for the first and on my own.
(more questions to come later)

moreResolved Question: Need guidance for studying in New Zealand?
I need some guidance on what to do next for studying in New Zealand. Hailing from India, I completed my 10th in 2002 with 74% and then went on to pursue Intermediate studies (equivalent to 12th class) and scored 66%. That was in the year 2004. After 2004, i quit my studies and went on doing odd jobs. All these years, I had a strong desire for studying but wasnt able to coz of different reasons like family, financial problems etc. Now that the things have started getting better, I thought of continuing my studies abroad and New Zealand is a place tht excites me. I appeared the IELTS in Feb 2010 and scored 7.5 bands. The individual scores are like Listening 8.5, Speaking 6, Reading 9, Writing 6.5.. You can see, my luv to read books and anything that i cud lay hands on (during the hard days) reflects in my 9 bands in reading....
After getting my IELTS score, i visited many educational consultancies.... But found none who is genuinely interested in helping me honestly with some good university/college... All they throw on my face is some college they are associated with and those colleges charge fees like NZ $15000 minimum and that is way beyond my limits... And if the fee is around NZ $12500, then the college has no standard and its no bigger than a match-box (literally).... Im interested in pursuing my studies in either teaching/ travel & tourism/ early child education etc...
Can anyone out there guide me in what way I can utilise my IELTS score for admission in some decent university/college and at low tuition fees... My financial condition is a little stable now but the fees of the universities is too high.... I can somehow manage if it comes down to something around NZ $9000...

1.A man drove down from Shillong to Chennai, covering about 4,000 km by road in four days, to save his ‘best friend’, an American Boxer, afflicted by a mysterious illness.
Sanjay Sharma who runs a consultancy service in Shillong, has been living with his dog Bonxie, for the past 16 months. When Bonxie began having epileptic attacks due to an irregular heart beat, veterinarians in Meghalaya recommended he seek advanced health care.
So Sharma got into his Xylo MUV with the dog and a helper and drove down — as travel by plane or train would have been stressful for Bonxie.
Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) Hospital vice chancellor Dr P Thangaraju said this was not the first time they were treating a dog from a distant place. “We have treated animals from dog squads of the army and BSF too,’’ he said.

I am planning a trip for my parents. They live in Mumbai, India, and want to do a spot of site seeing in Europe in Oct sometime this year, 2010 before heading to the USA (Phoenix, AZ). Can you recommend some places to go?
They have friends in Vienna, and London, and can stay with them. So these places automatically go on the list! Where else is recommended? Paris maybe? Sweden/ Switzerland/ any others?
They are both vegetarians, speak fluent English (no Spanish/ french/ etc though). They'd like to relax, see some beautiful places, spend a few days in each place, and head to the USA (AZ) to visit us sometime in Nov/ Dec '10.
Can you pl recommend a travel plan from your experience? Also, what could be a good sequence to follow starting from Mumbai, ending at Phx, AZ? How long would you recommend in each place in Europe? Is there a guided tour that you can think of, my parents don't drive? What might be the cost?
Thank you very much in advance for your recommendations!

moreResolved Question: heed help in correcting my essay?
My english teacher wants me to write about the difficulties i have faced learning english and has my attitude towards English changed? my english is not that grate even though i have written a paragraph about the difficulties i have faced learning English. i don't know the proper way of writhing in essay format. i would really appreciate your help.
My name is *********. I was born in a middle class family in India. My father is a respectable person in the community and my mother is a teacher. Since I was a child, my parents always wanted me to become an engineer by enrolling me in English high school. However, I India where I lived there were no English schools. When I was four years old I was enrolled in Gujarati School which was a local language school. After two years, my parents moved to Bombay because of lack of business and for my education. I was enrolled in English school from grade second in Bombay. As I was a small kid, I started learning new things and liked doing different things like painting, craft, sports but I disliked English language even though fellow students giggled at me. I always had problems understanding grammar and never got good marks in English. My teacher always called my parents complaining about my poor grades and bad performance in school. My father never shouted at me even though I was bad in studies but he always used to tell me that one day I will realized how important English language is. As time went by, I finished my grade tenth but didn't’t get good marks so I dropped from my school without finishing grade 12th. My father was angry but didn't’t say anything. I started helping my father in his business since I was out of school. For almost eight years I helped my father in his business but for some reason my father had to close down the business. After the closing down the business I didn't’t had anything to do so i started looking for job but never got one. Everywhere I went the employer wanted a college graduate which I was not. As I was 24 year old I started realizing how big mistake I did by not studying English and not finishing my studies but it was too late. In India once you are twenty you cannot finish your high school. I had to compromise with my life and I started working in a small company and the salary was not so grate. Nothing looked grate in my life and was loosing my confidence. Luckily, I was hired by a travel agency as a tour guide, taking the travellers to Dubai for their vacation trip but even there English was required which I was not proficient. While on my trip I met a girl who was from London. We became friends and got married. She sponsored me and I went to London. The reason behind going to a new country was because for my studies hoping one day I will finish my qualification and live a good life. But it was not an easy task. Even after four years studying was not an easy task especial English. Learning English language was a tough job for me. Teachers were excellent and new their stuff but I did not know any of the words or their meanings. I left the class with a miserable feeling that I had never felt before. But I had to move on and had to finish my courses. i had to changed my self in order to learn English even though I hated

I love my country: I love my family but I want ‘more’ in life. Explain this statement with details and examples from your life / personal experiences. (30 minutes)
I am a patriot, and I love my country
Because my country is all I know
I want to be with my family
People who understand me
I got no place else to go
- Steven Van Zandt (I am a patriot by Pearl Jam)
The quoted lyrics of this classic song by Pearl Jam have moved me to the core ever since I heard it. It is an unquestionable fact that I love my country dearly. I love India, the country of my birth, my motherland. A land of tremendous opportunities and promises; filled with such highly capable, energetic and intelligent citizens and blessed with such a variety of resources, natural beauty and heritage, that it makes other less fortunate nations accuse God of partiality. I love my nation and so does the Almighty. My family is another thread that ties me to my land. The members of my family, together, build a perfect home. They are my support system. Being a sheltered child and the most pampered in my family, it is hard, for me, to imagine a life without any of them to guide me. Yet, one must grow up and make something of one’s self. I have always been a good student, an obedient daughter and a caring sister but there must be more to life than fulfilling just these roles and I want to live a full life.
My parents have sent me to the best of schools and given me opportunities that most
people can only dream of. I feel I’m duty bound to use them to the fullest and become someone whom they can be proud of. Moreover, I have always felt that one needs to give back an equal amount or more
to their country. My country is as important to me as my family because here is where I was born and took my first steps and it is this place that has been good to me and my family and provided me with every opportunity that I hoped for. In order to do something great and useful to mankind one needs to increase their ambit of knowledge. This can only happen if one travels to distant lands and witnesses the foreign cultures by oneself. I need to view for myself the positives and the negatives of a foreign culture to be able to judge fairly and add something valuable to mine own. To become a successful person one needs to stop being the perennial kupamanduka (the well frog) and mature into the frog that swims the seas. For, in the very words of Dr. Amartya Sen, noted Economist and Nobel Prize Winner, a kupamanduka is a frog that lives its whole life within a well, knows nothing else, and is suspicious of everything outside it. It talks to no one, and argues with no one, on anything. It merely harbors the deepest suspicion of the outside world. The scientific, cultural and economic history of the world would have been very limited had we lived like well- frogs. To rid myself of unreasonable suspicions that hinder my personal growth, I need to travel and experience the different cultures and ethics of people belonging to races other than mine. After all, knowledge is the only thing that increases in amount with sharing among people, that is, the more knowledge one shares, the more one’s personal bank of knowledge increases.
However, this does not mean that as soon as I move out of my country, I shall forget my people and settle down elsewhere permanently. For, whatever I learn from my experiences abroad will be of no use unless I can apply the positive factors of other cultures to mine own in order to rid my nation and culture of its own problems. But, I also understand that it is impossible for me to bring about a holistic improvement in the state of affairs in my country, alone as I’m merely an insignificant individual compared to the billion high population of the entire nation. So, in the end there is a rather selfish reason as well for my desire to return home after gaining experience worldwide. The reason is that the soul longs to return to its roots for as Cicero put it rather succinctly, “There is no place more delightful than one’s own fireside.”
I will appreciate any help. Suggestions are most welcome.

Let's remember that the Nepalese Gurkhas defeated & massacred the argentinian army during the Falkland islands war. . . during the Falklands War in 1982 between Britain and Argentina, their legendary fighting prowess appeared to terrify the South American troops, "who turned and fled," according to a British newspaper report.
* When thinking of the "best of the best" in military terms, a handful of global names come to mind. Among those are the Gurkha soldiers, the brave troops from Nepal's isolated hills who bolster the forces of the British and Indian armies. Famed for their tenacity and loyalty in warfare since the late 18th century, these Khukuri-wielding soldiers have played a key role in numerous wars.
The original Gurkha troops from the mountain kingdom of Gorkha, west of Kathmandu, from which Prithivi Narayan Shah conquered the Kathmandu valley in 1769 and unified the land of Nepal, grew in strength and size.
Since 1948, as a result of a signed agreement by Great Britain, India, and Nepal, Gurkhas serve in the militaries of both the United Kingdom and India.
Gurkhas are still regularly called upon. During the Falklands War in 1982 between Britain and Argentina, their legendary fighting prowess appeared to terrify the South American troops, "who turned and fled," according to a British newspaper report. The Gurkhas proved their worth to the British with their loyalty and skill during the Sepoy Rebellion (1857-1858), after which the grateful British bestowed several honors upon the Gurkhas. They also proved themselves to be flexible and adaptable fighters and over time fought in wars all over the world.
When they were not fighting, they were climbing. Long before the Sherpas achieved fame as mountain guides, Gurkhas were climbing Himalayan peaks. In the Alps in 1894 two Gurkhas, Amar Singh Thapa and Karbir Burathoki, traveled 1,600 km (1,000 miles) in 86 days, crossing 39 passes and scaling 21 peaks. They named a Swiss peak Piz Gurkha after becoming the first to scale its 3,063 meters (10,049 ft); a col was named Gurkha Pass. In 1907, Burathoki and Englishman Tom Longstaff made the first major ascent of a Himalaya peak, Trisul (7,120 meters/23,360 ft). Gurkhas joined five Everest expeditions between 1921 and 1937.
Being a Gurkha soldier is a position of great status in Nepal. Many spend their entire careers in the service, as salaries, pensions, and related services provide a significant contribution to the national economy. One of the most famous legends surrounding the Gurkhas involves the traditional Khukuri knives which all the soldiers carried. These are short, curved and deadly blades, and the legend goes that no Gurkha has ever drawn a Khukuri without also drawing blood. * The arjentinians were intimdated and scared, and they ran away before entering in combat.
Both countries, Nepal and Arjentina are so impoverished.

moreResolved Question: Isn't the history of Socotra fascinating?
Do you know the past of Socotra Island?
To Denise
Long ago, the merchants, fearless traders,
Were traveling on foot, on boats, camels, horses
Avoiding pirates, greedy cut-throats, and robbers.
Loading and unloading material overseas,
They delivered the goods for the pleasure of all:
Silk, wool, muslin, cotton, pearls, oils, precious metal.
They brought spices, perfumes, incense, nard, roots, wood, skins,
They carried herbs, fine stones, remedies, and resins.
To Socotra island, the Indian merchants
Brought along their stories, glorious legends and chants.
They told the fight between two brothers, two gods,
Elephant and Dragon, in conflict against all odds.
Greek authors, and Latin, related the story
Of the cinnabar, or, to them, ‘kinnabari’.
Socotra is found near by its owner, Yemen,
In the Arabian Sea, and in the Gulf of Aden.
Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and the Arabian Sea
Were for the Ancient Greeks the Erythraean Sea.
A Greek speaking trader of the first century
Wrote a navigators’ guide, a useful treasury.
It’s ‘The Periplus of the Erythraean Sea’,
Full of details and distances as it could be.
International trade involved India,
Greece, Persia, Africa, China, and Socotra,
Among others. We learn what merchants bought and sold,
How they carried incense, perfumes, silver, and gold.
Translator of the text, Huntingford has given
The meaning of ‘Socotra’, as coming from India:
Truthful and faithful to this amazing haven,
Sanskrit ‘Dvipa Sukhadara’, ‘island of bliss’.
Before I go, to you, reader, I blow a kiss.
