Open Question: Can Police Officers be True Christians?
** I am not writing to upset anyone or to offend anyone. I'm looking for honest opinions** 1) The Great Commission- "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations (groups of people, not countries) baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always..." Matt 28:19 &20 -How can you spread the gospel if its a conflict of interest for the state? I have talked to some PD officers and they themselves have told me that in some cases their speak is limited. ( Just like being in the military, you don't have complete freedom of speech like a civilian) -Jesus clearly commands this- to proclaim him and to do it without shame or regret. What if some civilian decides he doesn't like Officer XYZ preaching the gospel on his off time ( if there is even such a thing for a police officer) and decides to make a complaint (even when off duty the officer represent the state. That is why there are background investigations)? Does he follow the commands of THE LORD or of his Commander, Governor, Sgt or some elected official? 2) Turn the other cheek. True followers of Christ are supposed to be humble and non-violent. Esp when spreading the Gospel. And love thy enemies: "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you." —Luke 6:27-31. NIV -"If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also." Pretty simple, don't strike back. (No Shooting, no striking, no cursing nothing violent) What then? And yes, these are What Jesus Commands, given during the SERMON ON THE MOUNT. "He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." John 14:24 We are supposed to walk like Jesus, no it wont be perfect, but we are supposed to live a life similar to his. He was an example. He never killed. He never struck. He was humble and nonviolent all the time. (Yet he could have called armies of Angels on command) "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." Matt 26:52 Replace sword with gun, we use guns now not swords. Well most of use anyway. What I see is most people that work for the state or are elected proclaim a christian God but don't go any further. America is funny. You have to believe in a Christian God to be elected, but you had better not go into anymore detail than that. No commandments, no gospel spreading, and definitely don't mention that most sacred name (Jesus) it makes the rest of the World feel bad. KJV- only for me. Please serious comments only. I am a high school Sophomore and I either want to become a producer, actress a lawyer. I wanted to be a lawyer for years but then I started to think about it and I don't know how good I am at arguing. People say I love to argue, but I don't think I can make a good argument, although some people say I can, others I can't. I am going to start taking acting lessons next year as my elective. I've been obsessed with celebrities so I looked into becoming a producer and it sounded interesting. I've started watching the behind scenes stuff on DVDs and it looks like fun! I have an uncle who is a producer and he is unemployed. But, then my neighbor is a lawyer and he is unemployed also.I told my parents I want to be a producer and they said "NO WAY!". My dad said "if you major in producing, find a way to pay for your own college", but he said this in front of his friends so I don't know if he was joking or not. After he said this, my mom said "just minor in film." I am taking acting classes next year for my electives and there are tons of opportunities for me to act if I am interested in it. I am going to college after high school, probably Notre Dame or U of Michigan and maybe majoring in Business and minoring in film . I am planning on going to law school after college. If I decide to go with the lawyer career, I want to be a Senator. Or I was considering becoming a producer and then governor (like Ronald Reagan was an actor and then he became President.) There are stars like Peter Facinelli and Ashley Greene who didn't start acting until college and Cameron Diaz who auditioned for a part and got it with no acting experience and Harrison Ford started acting, wasn't making a lot of money acting, so he took of carpentry and then was hired to build George Lucas's cabinets, and then Lucas hired him for Star Wars. I also took a career test and it said either a producer or lawyer! (That was no help at all!) Also, I was looking at employment statistics, and it said for 2008, there were around 100,00 employed producers and 700,000 employed lawyers, but I won't be graduating college until 2017, so I don't know how much the statistics will change. What are my chances of becoming a producer in Hollywood? Can I have some advice? I have no idea what I want to do! Also, my mom said the reason she didn't go to law school was because of how hard it is to find a job as a lawyer. moreOpen Question: Which career should I choose? Is it due to... 1) Arizona is in the western part of the US & closer to the border 2) Their Governor is Republican 3) Obama isn't aware that other states have laws on their books that mirror the federal law 4) The federal law is to be ignored when it contradicts much needed votes According to the article in the Boston Globe - Rhode Island's Governor signed their law in 2008 - guess it was a slow news week and the Congress and Obama missed that one moreOpen Question: Who Shall Become California's New Governor?

Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard, a Democrat running for governor, is calling on U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz., to back off his high-profile support for an economic boycott of Arizona in protest of its controversial immigration law. Goddard, who has seen Republican Gov. Jan Brewer's popularity surge since she signed Senate Bill 1070 in April, wrote to Grijalva in a letter dated Wednesday: "You have told the media that you would like to change minds here in Arizona through a boycott. From what I have seen, the Governor and the Legislature don't seem to care about Arizona's economic life blood. A boycott would only hurt Arizona. "I ask you to join with me in calling on businesses across America to give Arizona a chance, and help us to rebuild our economy instead of engaging in hurtful boycotts. "Let's work together to make sure that Arizona is known around the country, not as a place of intolerance, but as a state that respects the rights of all citizens and values diversity." Grijalva on Thursday responded with a terse, two-sentence statement that suggested that gubernatorial campaign politics were behind Goddard's letter. The latest Rasmussen Reports poll showed Brewer leading Goddard by 18 percentage points. "I hope Gov. Brewer got a similar letter asking her to tone down her vicious comments," Grijalva said. "I understand why Mr. Goddard sent this letter, but I’m not the source of his problems.” Arizona's immigration law says that a police officer engaged in a lawful stop, detention or arrest shall, when practicable, ask about a person's legal status when reasonable suspicion exists that the person is in the United States illegally. In April, Grijalva publicly called on out-of-state organizations "not to schedule conventions and conferences in Arizona until it recognizes civil rights and the meaning of due process." He since has drawn criticism from Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., and others. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., has been sending letters to groups who have announced that they won't come to the state in an effort to get them to reconsider. On Tuesday, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio confronted Grijalva about the boycott during a joint interview on CNN's "John King, USA." The topic of the interview was the Justice Department lawsuit filed Tuesday to stop the Arizona law. "Why did you ask everybody to boycott Arizona? Why didn't you wait for the courts to come up with a final decision?" Arpaio asked Grija lva. "That wasn't right for our state. And I'm a little disappointed that you had to go out and tell everybody in the country, don't come to Arizona." Grijalva, who represents a Southern Arizona congressional district, said he asked for "economic consequences," not a boycott. He said there is historic precedence for using economic pressure to force change in the face of an unresponsive political process. Grijalva also suggested that Arpaio and other critics might be giving him too much credit. "And, you know, as much as I would like to think I'm so powerful, Sheriff, that I said something and the consequences begin, the minute that that was signed into law, the consequences began," Grijalva said. "And the consequences began because there's people all over this country that understand that this law is not only wrong but that it targets people. And so the consequences that are happening to the state, of economics, you guys put the chickens in there, and they've come to roost. And you should not be blaming anybody but yourself http://www.azcentral.com/news/Blog/azdc/88515 moreOpen Question: Do you think presidents that were governors at one point are better in office?
Consider for a minute that the presidents that are considered some of the best by there own party were former governors. Take for instance Reagan, Clinton, Gw, and so on (yes liberals we all know how you hate Gw, and yes conservatives we know how you hate Clinton). Nevertheless, it seems these presidents all had governorship in common. Do you think that helps? moreResolved Question: How will the public's outrage at Obama affect the midterm elections at the state level?
I remember the previous midterms, I believe, when all the Republicans were cleared out because people hated Bush and Pelosi took charge of the US House of Reps. I sense that most of this country is fed up with Obama and is going to turn on some incumbent democrats, choosing to elect new blood into Congress who are Republicans. I think this makes sense if you truly believe that the "Democratic" party is at fault for all of our country's problems. My question is this: Do voters typically turn against incumbents at the state level when things are going bad, or is it basically apples and oranges to compare federal and state-level elections? For instance, Maryland's General Assembly is like 80% Democratic, but the race between the dem incumbent Governor and our former repub Governor Ehrlich is a very close one. So, am I right in believing that constituents who are comfortable with their Democratic incumbents in state politics will not all of a sudden go ahead and vote out people who have been serving the House of Delegates for like 15 years? I see we have tons of Repubs who have never ran before trying to take the seats of Delegates from districts that have been Democrat-controlled for decades... Just because people hate Obama and are fed up with things, they're not going to take it out on Democrats at the state level in the same fashion that they will at the Federal level, right? Or could the Repubs argue that the Dems at the state level who support Obama are bringing his same, deluded philosophies and in conjunction with those policies that the Feds dole out...are ruining our state. Thus, if you are unhappy with Obama and the state of your country - you should vote out every Dem...whether it's at the County Council at the local level...or even at the U.S. Senate from the state of Maryland. Could Obama turn Dem states into Blue States...at each level of government, or just the federal ones? (Let's face it, some noob isn't gonna beat Barbara Mikulsi, or is he...?) Thanks for your input. moreOpen Question: Why are blacks protesting in Oakland?
I respect the Police in this great nation of ours. We were not there so we do not know what really happened. Videotape, cameras cannot be credible as camera positions distort things. Oakland will not become another LA as it was during the Rodney King verdict. Shoot to kill must be the rule and a curfew must be enforced to the fullest. Everyone wants to get all emotional without reading the facts, if they can read. Perhaps if Oakland had a Police Commissioner like LA had in Gates this marching and protesting would not happen. I am Black and a Republican and a member of the NRA. I am a war veteran and a former Military Officer. Believe me. There are better ways to protest. Write, e-mail your Representatives, Mayor, Senators Boxer and Feinstein, Governor Schwarzenegger. Burning tires, destroying hard-working peoples property and attempting to attack Police Officers went out in the 1960's. then why did he give Arizona a governor who would be willing to sign the bill in the 1st place? Once upon a time, Arizona's governor was a Democrat who would have likely vetoed that bill. but Obama appointed that governor to his cabinet, well aware that the new governor was going to be a REPUBLICAN, who supports the bill and signed it into law. Of all the people he could have appointed to be Secretary of Homeland Security.............it had to be Janet Napilitano? Really? He had to give Arizona a Republican governor? PHOENIX - One day after the federal government announced it's suing Arizona over SB1070, donations are now pouring in to help the state defend itself against the lawsuit, and others, involving the new immigration law. According to Paul Senseman, a spokesperson for Governor Jan Brewer, the legal defense fund had $163,304 from 3,236 donors as of Tuesday afternoon. By Wednesday morning, donations jumped to $363,378 from 7,397 donors. Senseman said people from all 50 states have made donations. The largest single donation is $2,000. People have donated as little as $1. In May, Gov. Brewer established the legal defense fund to accept private donations to help pay the legal costs in fighting challenges to SB1070. http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/region_phoenix_metro/central_phoenix/donations-pour-in-to-help-state-fight-immigration-lawsuits moreOpen Question: Can you honestly believe that California is going to end up with Jerry Brown for a Governor? Look, mommy, a guy gave me a free balloon in school today. No, balloons do not come in different flavors. My my state, the Bay State, the state authorities believe that all school children should have access to family planning. All school children. In Provincetown, MA, even the kindergarten kids get condoms. I was substitute teaching in the first grade and one of the kids asked me if I was gay. I asked him why he would ask a grown up a question like that. He said there was a guy in there yesterday handing out "those balloons" and giving the first graders a sex education class. Now here is the other thing. We are paying for it. Our governor is a former staffer for Bill Clinton so not only are state funds being funneled into this program, federal funds are also supplying the kids with those flavored balloons and why kids should ask grown ups if they are gay or straight. Do you remember Bill Clinton, the Impeached ex-President. Does Monica ring any bells? The man who invented new ways to enjoy a cigar had a big influence on cable tv and the Internet bringing all sorts of adult entertainment into your living room for kids to view. Al Gore was his Vice President was a real hands on sort of a guy. Just ask any masseuse. Both Bill and Al have been advising the President on many matters. Barrack has rehired many of their former staffers. Is it too much to ask the state if we could let kids be kids for just a few years. Could we let the sex education classes slide for the little kids in elementary school? By the time most public school children reach junior high they know how the body works better than an auto mechanic knows how to repair my car. A girl and a boy went to the doctor. They ask him what is the best method of birth control. The doctor took an apple off of his desk. They asked him. Should we eat it before or after? He smiled at them. What's so funny? He said "you eat it instead." As a taxpayer I am willing to supply every student in my state with a free apple. As for the rest of it, ask your parents and tell the boy who is passing out the flavored balloons to go back to the adult bookstore and sell them there. I am sick and tired of paying for Trojans for toddlers. My parents taught me about the birds and the bees when I was a teenager. I am still alive. Isn't that good enough for today's children? In Mass, the Bay State, our governor has reformed COBRA. Criminal records are sealed from employers to help ex convicts get jobs. What's been happening is that ex cons are working in the schools. Some of these people have been caught with high school kids. Do we really need condoms for kindergarten kids? Puberty is at 12-13. This latest state action is not protecting children, it is putting them in harm's way. These sex ed people do not have to go through the same background checks as teachers nor even as substitute teachers. moreOpen Question: Republicans: What do you think of the possibility that Sarah Palin could the next Chairperson?

My life is upside down, but I know that I still want to work in IT. Where do I begin? I have an Associates in Marketing. I was looking into getting my BA in IT with Western Governors University online. Statement by Governor Jan Brewer PHOENIX – “Today I was notified that the federal government has filed a lawsuit against the State of Arizona. It is wrong that our own federal government is suing the people of Arizona for helping to enforce federal immigration law. As a direct result of failed and inconsistent federal enforcement, Arizona is under attack from violent Mexican drug and immigrant smuggling cartels. Now, Arizona is under attack in federal court from President Obama and his Department of Justice. Today’s filing is nothing more than a massive waste of taxpayer funds. These funds could be better used against the violent Mexican cartels than the people of Arizona. “The truth is the Arizona law is both reasonable and constitutional. It mirrors substantially what has been federal law in the United States for many decades. Arizona’s law is designed to complement, not supplant, enforcement of federal immigration laws. Despite the Department of Justice’s claims in paragraph 62 of today’s lawsuit, Arizona is not trying ‘to establish its own immigration policy’ or ‘directly regulate the immigration status of aliens.’ Arizona Revised Statutes § 11-1051(E) states that the federal government, along with local law enforcement officers authorized by the federal government, can only determine an alien’s immigration status. Subsection (L) of that same section goes on to state that the law ‘shall be implemented in a manner consistent with federal laws regulating immigration.’ “The irony is that President Obama’s Administration has chosen to sue Arizona for helping to enforce federal immigration law and not sue local governments that have adopted a patchwork of ‘sanctuary’ policies that directly violate federal law. These patchwork local ‘sanctuary’ policies instruct the police not to cooperate with federal immigration officials. “The best thing government can do is to create a stable, predictable environment, governed by an easily understood set of rules or laws. We do not need to make this more complicated than it already is. We must first and foremost create a secure border. Enhanced trade, economic opportunity and freedom will surely follow. “I am pleased that President Obama and the Department of Justice did not pursue the baseless claims of illegal racial profiling in the lawsuit. When signing S.B. 1070, I said, ‘My signature today represents my steadfast support for enforcing the law — both against illegal immigration AND against racial profiling.’ Arizona’s law expressly prohibits unconstitutional racial profiling. However, words are not enough. For this reason, I ordered the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZPOST) to develop training on the new law for Arizona’s police officers. AZPOST has completed the training course and has published it for the all world to see at www.azpost.state.az.us/SB1070infocenter.htm . AZPOST has done its job professionally and served Arizona well. “I will not stop fighting to protect the citizens of Arizona, and to defend Arizonans in federal court. I have set up a legal defense fund to pay the substantial legal fees that Arizona has been, and will be, forced to incur as a result of all of these lawsuits. Contributions to the Border Security and Immigration Defense Fund can be made at www.keepazsafe.com . My legal team will not hesitate to assert the rights of the State of Arizona in this matter. Arizona will ultimately prevail against the lawsuits – including this latest assault by the Obama Administration. Our laws will be found to be constitutional – because that is exactly what they are.” http://tucsoncitizen.com/three-sonorans/2010/07/06/jan-brewer-responds-to-eric-holders-justice-dept/ moreResolved Question: What are your thoughts on this?
Siena College has just released its annual ranking of America’s 44 presidents, and I was delighted to be among the 200 historians to be asked to participate in evaluating the chief executives. The responses are confidential but I will reveal that I ranked George Washington as our greatest president and not Franklin Roosevelt. The fact that FDR and other “progressive” presidents score so high surely indicates a certain level of bias in the historians chosen and surveyed. Empirical data demonstrates that FDR never solved the Great Depression and indeed, probably exacerbated it with his New Deal policies; however he does deserve all the credit for winning WW II. On the other hand, after America was attacked on December 7th, any president who had not responded just as forcefully would have been impeached. Surely the bias of those surveyed was underscored with the nonsensical ranking of Barack Obama ahead of Ronald Reagan. First, Obama should not have even been included. He’s only been in office for a year and a half. Further, many have argued that sufficient time should pass before these evaluations begin and that even Bill Clinton and George W. Bush ought to be left off the list until passions have cooled and they can be judged more dispassionately. But objectively, how does one really put Obama ahead of Reagan, who unlike FDR, solved his economic calamity in two years (and in the process, tamed the high inflation, high interest rates and created 19 million jobs in the private sector) and, oh by way, won the Cold War. Reagan critics in academia argue that Mikhail Gorbachev and Reagan concluded the Cold War. Ridiculous. Communism gained ground against every American president from 1917 until 1980. Until Reagan put the neck of Soviet communism under the heel of his cowboy boot and crushed the life out of it, no Soviet leader ever willing surrendered power. Gorbachev ran up a threadbare white bed sheet. But don’t ask me and don’t ask some of the historians surveyed by Siena about the Cold War. Ask Gorbachev. He’ll tell you that Reagan won the Cold War. What do we really know about Obama? We don’t know his grades from college or law school, his SAT scores but we do know he rarely quotes great men of the past and seems to begin every sentence with a possessive pronoun. Reagan, on the other hand, quoted Churchill, Cicero, Paine, Jefferson, Diocletian (!!!) and spoke from a parish perspective, using “us” and “we” and “ours.” Obama says “my government” Reagan said, “your government.” Maybe it’s a sign of the “YouTube” generation, but from the standpoint of history, Obama seems to see the presidency as about himself while Reagan and previous presidents saw the office as about the American people and the Constitution. In The Federalist Papers, Jay, Hamilton and Madison hammered away at the point, over and over, that the two most vital criteria for the presidency were character and experience. Obama, while lacking experience, nonetheless strikes me as a man of good character even if he is a bit self-absorbed; however, many if not most of the 44 presidents have been men of good character. That’s not enough to rank him high on the list. It also must be about real accomplishments and a complete measure of the man and his life. The great movie director Frederico Fellini said that one must “live spherically.” By this he meant that people should live their lives in many directions. Reagan was a student of the world, of the culture, of history and of people. He was a class president and an athlete and a radio broadcaster and a husband and a father and a Christian and a rancher and a union president and a successful movie star and a successful television host and a carpenter and a horseman and a writer and a lecturer and a commentator and a governor. All before he became president. And only after two successful terms and two of the biggest landslides in American history did he decide to write an autobiography. Obama has written two autobiographies (though rumors have been rampant over the years that he wrote neither) even before he ran for president. What we do know about Obama is that he, like many of his generation, is mostly developed in the study of himself. He is America’s first “Facebook” president. Having worked for Reagan and written two books on the man, one might expect that I ranked Reagan high and they would be right to presume that. But I let empirical data be my guide and not political bias. On the other hand, if one were to ask the recently deceased liberal historian John Patrick Diggins, he rated Reagan in the category of “great” presidents, along with Washington, Lincoln and FDR. His criteria, as should ours be, being that each of these men freed many peoples. Another liberal historian, James MacGregor Burns, put Reagan in the category of near great presidents. Despite what the historians surveyed by Siena believe---along with renowned histo moreResolved Question: When the movie is made: Will the part of Obama be played by JFK and Jan Brewer played by George Wallace?

SIERRA VISTA — Although Arizona is the target of people and groups who say the state’s soon-to-be-enacted immigration law is wrong, Republican Gov. Jan Brewer said, “I believe they are getting misinformation.”And, the incorrect information is coming from all levels, including the federal government, the Mexican government and groups who say they are protecting the rights of people who fear Senate Bill 1070 will lead to racial profiling, Brewer said Sunday. “We have a huge population that are illegal,” she said after arriving the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport. Brewer was one of the speakers at the annual Sierra Vista Fourth of July noon ceremony at Veterans’ Memorial Park The specter of the law, which calls upon law enforcement agencies to question a person’s status in the nation if there is some suspicion after a person is being questioned about another potential criminal incident, is seen by many as a violation of a person’s civil rights, the governor said But a person’s civil rights are protected by the bill, which goes into effect on July 29, she added. A number of legal scholars, whom she did not name, have looked at the law and say there is no racial profiling or civil rights violations, Brewer said. While there are five lawsuits against the state because of the law, she said, she wonders when, or if, the administration of Democratic President Barack Obama is going to file one against Arizona. As for the suits, the governor said it is good they are all being consolidated by a federal judge, since the main contentions in each of them are similar when it comes to the new state law. However, Brewer said she is disappointed the Mexican government will have standing and be allowed to file a friend of the court brief stating the law will harm its nation’s citizens in Arizona. She said it is beyond reason for a foreign government to interfere in another country’s legal system, although the governor noted it has happened. The Mexican federal government is not the only entity in that nation to complain, Brewer said. Mexican border state governors have, too, and one of them is the governor of the state of Sonora, Guillermo Padrés Elias, who has personally expressed his displease to the Arizona governor. Arizona and Sonora share a border. On the other hand, a number of American governors, all Republicans, have called her expressing support, said Brewer, who declined to name them. And, there are many citizens in the United States who believe the state is doing the right thing and have said so, the governor added. Also, 20 states have expressed an interest in adopting a similar law, which to Brewer means Arizona is not off the mark in trying to ensure its citizens are protected from the actions of illegal activities which cross the border into the state from Mexico. http://www.svherald.com/content/news/2010/07/05/brewer-says-misinformation-plays-role-every-level-immigration-law moreResolved Question: Do you think the cops in new jersey municipalities?

I have no idea what I want to do! moreResolved Question: Why Do Politicians talk about SSn as though it is a senior citizen issue when SSn is Mine and Yours Money--we?
We Paid it in--(me since I was 15 and working)--and you for all your work. This is OUR Money--not the govt's or the States' and yet--the govt has embezzled our funds as have most Senators and governors==taken our paid in money for our own retirement==and stole it--the coffers are empty. Why do these idiots--even Sharon Angle (NV) claiming this money is to take care of our seniors, when that's not true? The govt has embezzled our Money--and we Keep letting them by leaving all these crooks in Congress, right? wrong? What say you about this forced contribution citizens have no control over ever RECEIVING back? Time to revamp our tax and SSn system and take the power away from this CORRUPT GOVT? true? If Bruce 83 is right, I am going to stop paying into this pool--as of today! The govt must be dissolved and built from scratch! Congress is corrupt! moreResolved Question: Should I become a lawyer or a producer?
I know I asked this, I just wanted more opinions: I am a high school Sophomore and I either want to become a producer, actress a lawyer. UGA, Emory University, Georgia Tech, UPenn, and Yale. I'm currently a rising junior in high school. I have a 4.0 GPA and a 99.0%. I participate in Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Club, French National Honor Society, French Club, and I was on the staff of my school's literary magazine. Nest year I hope to join National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and National Science Honor Society I haven't had any leadership positions in freshman or sophomore year, but I hope to get ones in FNHS, French Club, and be an editor my junior and senior years for the Lit. Mag. I have won a lot of awards my freshman and sophomore years in writing, math, science, art, and French. I was nominated for a Governor's Honors thing for French but I only made it to the county finals. However, I did place in the top ten percent (nationally and at the state level) for the National French Exam. I volunteer at a local hospital, and I hope to volunteer at my church as well. I currently have a job at Kumon (a tutoring center) where I work once a week. I have taken the highest level of classes available at my school, which is one of the best public schools in the county. By the end of high school, I would have taken 11 or 12 APs. These are all I have taken so far: 9th AP Human Geography (5) 10th AP World History (still waiting on the score) These are the ones I have yet to take 11th AP Language and Composition AP Calculus BC AP Chemistry AP Physics B AP Us History 12th: Calc 2 AP Biology AP Gov/AP Econ AP Literature AP European History (maybe) Internship (maybe) AP French I haven't taken the SAT (on my practice I got an 1870) or ACT yet, but I am practicing right now. I also plan on taking SAT 2s. moreResolved Question: Now that Democrats are in charge why don't they pass a bill eliminating the Repuplican party?
Really we don't need them. They steal from the poor and give to themselves and do nothing which contributes to the betterment of America. Most Republicans don't even keep their money in American banks. Also, if Republicans are Sooooo American why don't they believe in the system of checks and balances? which calls for a change of parties every 4 years for a president, and 6 or whatever it is for senators and representatives and mayors and governors. If the Republicans had their way a Republican would be President forever - how is that different from countries like Iraq, Iran, North Korea? You have to agree Republicans are the root of all evil in America, if not you belong on the axis of evil. Correct? moreResolved Question: What makes Reagan so great?
