Open Question: looking candle poems for wedding?
I am getting married in june and thought candles would be a good wedding favor especially since i can get them super cheap! I found a poem for a baby shower and was hoping there was one similar for weddings or a poem that was religious for poems. The baby shower poem went like this: \

I love the idea of giving the guests a small house plant, obviously a very low maintenance indestructible type of plant that won't take a lot to keep alive, LOL! However I would like to put some sort of tag on the pot with a poem that will thank them for coming and to think about our babies (we're having twins) when they take care of the plant. Or something cute and cleaver. It's a Dr Seuss/Cat in the hat theme so I've been trying to come up with something rhyming. Any suggestions?!

There are four of us hosting and around 60 invited guest! We really don't have a theme, the colors or lavender, soft green and brown! I got lanterns to hang, matching tableclothes, etc... We will have a table at the entrance with the favors and 11x14 Sonogram Picture! The food table...does it need to be decorated with things other than the food or will it look to boring not being decorated with things...like a framed thank you poem, small floral arrangments, confetti? Should I have layered height to the table? I just need to know if I'm going overboard? We have already spent about three hundred dollars and still have to do food and prizes! HELP!

My mom is throwing me a baby shower and I am helping her out with some of the ideas. Well she has got the stuff to do the baby bottles filled with candy for the favors. I would like to add a little tag on each of them, that says thanks for coming from the baby (It's a Boy). But I would like it to be cute. I have seach the net and can't really find much of anything.
Does anyone know of any cute sayings or poems that I could use for this, or even some websites that has ideas for this.

The favors include: 1 shower gel, 1mesh scrubby, lip gloss, toe separators & nail polish, and a bracelet all in organza bags. (if that helps)
I'd like toe poem to be about 8-10 lines and not too complicated.

All I've come up with is this:
"Its fun to be girlie,
As you can plainly see
Make-up, perfume & dressing up are fun as fun can be"
I don't like it at all. It sounds like a Dr. Seuss book.

Also, Im looking for a place to buy the supplies so it wont cost a fortune. I remember seeing little seed kits at Target some time ago (they came with everything) for $1 each. DOes anyone know if they still have those?

My family is throwing me a baby shower next month, but I want to give "thank you" favors away from "the baby" at my shower. I went to a shower recently where the mom to be gave out "thank you" votive candles and it had a cute poem attached to it, I can't remember exactly what it said but basically it was something along the lines of "even though I am not here yet I wanted to say thank you for gift, etc." and then the poem went on to ask guests to light the candle and say a prayer in babies name. Anyhow, it was super cute and I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas/suggestions or even cute poems to attach to the thank you gifts from the baby!
