I have a fourth generation iPod Nano and I want to buy a iPod touch and I wouldn't need two iPods and I need the money. I was going to post on Craiglist that I want to sell this but I don't know how much I should charge for it. Like I said, it's a 4th generation, with 8 GBs. There is a couple little "dings" in it from where it has been dropped a few times. But the only way you can see them is if you up close and next to a light. The screen has no scratches. Lock button works. Clicker works. All the buttons works. All the features on the iPod work. Everything about it works perfectly. The iPod itself has the games Monopoly and 3 others on it, 6 videos (95.9 MB) of a variety (mostly comical, nothing of me or anything I made), No photos, 85.1 MB of "Other", and 989 songs (5.5 GBs). The songs are mostly Psychopathic (Ex: ICP, Boondox, Twiztid), Classic and 80's rock (Ex: Motley Crue, Telsa, Quiet Riot, Aerosmith), Underground Rap (Ex: Tech N9ne, Potluck, Kottenmouth Kings), Punk Rock (Ex: Green Day, (hed) PE, Lit) Comedy (Ex: Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy), and much more. Perhaps this is just some phony observation that only applies to a select few people, but here's what I've noticed. Alright, first, let's take a 13-year-old named Christian. Christian is almost completely unaware of rock music preceding these fateful weeks, save a few relatively well-known bands (the Bee Gees, in particular.) He discovers...the Beatles. That's right, you all know them. You've all heard of them. You all like at least one or two songs by them. But Christian...man, this guy LOVES the Beatles. He listens to Revolver seven times a week, Abbey Road fourteen times a day, Rubber Soul on constant repeat on his iPod every hour of the day (save when he's listening to the other Beatles records). Soon enough, he looks into other bands from that era, ones that had a sizable impact on rock music. First off, he gets into the Who, the Stones, and Zeppelin. Good bands, indeed. Before too long, however, Christian listens to "Like a Rolling Stone", and considers himself a connoisseur of rock, a musical genius, one who knows everything about art. He switches his profile image on all his favorite websites to a photo of Bob Dylan. His current favorite bands: the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Stones, the Who, Bob Dylan, Queen, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. He's also getting into a few more pop bands from the time...Van Halen, Boston, Pink Floyd, the Byrds, David Bowie, and the likes. ESPECIALLY the Byrds and David Bowie. I mean, for God's sakes, if somebody doesn't like them, he must be some kind of, some kind of...some kind of musical prude! Christian's taste continues to trail off. Music of the '60s, '70s, and '80s (on occasion) are all he listens to. Nothing else is any good. All classic rock, all the time. One day two years later, however, Christian listens to a lesser known band of a lesser known genre. Let's say...he listens to a Faust album, and he absolutely adores it. He doesn't know why, and he can't particularly explain what he likes about them, but he DOES know that he loves them. They're just as good, if not BETTER, than the Beatles, in all aspects. But they can't be...but they are! So Christian listens to more and more Faust-like bands. Kraftwerk, Can, Amon Duul II, and other relatively obscure German bands fill his iPod. He no longer listens to those stereotypical '60s and '70s rock bands...he's moved on. Does this happen often, or do I just need more subjects? I wasn't implying that people were only allowed to listen to certain things. I think I'm noticing another trend: 90% of the users on rock and pop can't answer a question without insulting the asker. It's not about me...observations on Y!A, actually. I'm not really into Krautrock, honestly. I like Kraftwerk and Can, but that's about it. more

A lot of people don’t realize the true power of music. I have listen to many artists in my short life. There has been some music that will affect my mood. Ok Fashion and Style, and Pop culture Gurus: What women and men's styles (hair, makeup, fashion, shoes, bags, etc.) and trends are completely out of fashion, what is retro and cool, what is timeless/classic, what is trendy for Fall 2008, and what do you forecast for Spring 2009? I'm going to start: IN : natural, healthy hair, individualized cuts OUT: Emo Hair, forced overstyled hair, too much heat IN: recycling, Hybrid Cars, reusable grocery bags, clean power OUT: Gas guzzlers, H2s (they were ugly anyway), Escalades IN: Obama (even if you don't plan to vote for him, he IS very popular with the news media) OUT: Bush (eh, soooo 2000) IN: the Bob (timeless, the roaring 20s anyone?) OUT: the mullet (not back yet - be patient...give it a few more years) IN: Hoverboards (I wish) OUT: being bored (you know you watch you tube all day at work...there's no excuse for boredom) IN :Youtube and Facebook OUT: Myspace IN: Getting a Life OUT: "WOW" (You know who you are. Come on, those graphics are terrible.) IN: Barbie (yeah we like Bratz, but come on, this babe is timeless) OUT: Beanie Babies (well, my dog still likes them to chew on) IN: Eating at home or going out for Hot Wings! (If you're going to spend that much, go buy a computer) IN: Getting out of debt OUT: Credit cards IN: Taking trains and carpooling OUT: Commuting really far IN: Classic Rock (classic), 80s music (retro), 90s music (retro) OUT: Emo (what IS it anyway?), and just about anything they play on the radio right now IN: Jeans that look good on your unique body. OUT: Acid wash jeans (no, not back yet), Skinny, skin-tight tapered jeans (These are my pet peeve. Sorry, they don't look good on anyone except the one genetically engineered and photo-shopped model in the advertisement. You can weigh 95 lbs and they will look bad. They look awful on guys, too.) IN: Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, RC Cola etc. OUT: Burple (you know you remember that), Tab, Squirt, Crystal Pepsi, Slice, New Coke...ok maybe those are retro...how about DECAF sodas...now those are definitely OUT Ok, that was fun...you get the point. Voting Question: First Time paying business taxes...?

I opened a Photography L.L.C. Business. I have only made about $2,000 for the year. I take pictures of cars so that the owner can put them on the internet. I didn't collect state taxes from my one contract. Because it is a classic car business and the owners says that I don't collect taxes from him, if he is going to sell the cars??? This is what his CPA advised him. How do I pay my taxes. I'm the only one who works in the company. I was paid as a private contractor from the classic car dealer. I live in Utah. It’s as a home base business. I don't want to get rocked from an accountant, if I don't have to. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks. Resolved Question: Decorating Bathroom in a music theme. Please help!?

I'm basically remodeling our house and I've started with the bathrooms. One of our bathrooms is an old hollywood theme and iconic stars. I want to decorate our other bathroom in either a Classic Rock or Soul/Blues music theme. I'm thinking I'd rather do the soul music but I really don't know where to start. I have the photos and musicians I want in there already thought of but I need paint colors. Our Hollywood bathroom is sort of cream colored with black and some red accents. I'd like our music bathroom to be more bold colored. Nothing extremely dark, because it is sort of small. Any help would be greatly appreciated! more

Finally it was proven that Led Zep had zero song writing talent, not only did they "cover" every song but one on the first album, but they even claimed they had written the music when we now know they did not. Even they knew it and years ago actually changed the credits on the first album. But if you get an original release of it, you'll see they took all the credit for songs they never wrote. How low can you go? To steal another artists work and then claim it to be all yours. Even Stairway to Heaven, their most famous song....yes, it was a direct rip off. My boyfriend is an aspiring actor; likes pro wrestling, classic rock music, quotes, reading, anime, making his own radio shows for his radio class, Shakespeare; and he's a romantic and really sweet. I don't know what to do for Christmas... I want my gift to be heartfelt.
