I heard it on a local Christian radio station a few days ago. I asked the owner of the station(we know him) last night what it was called and who sings it, and he said it's called "Juice Box" and it's a kids singer with help from a Christian artist who sing it. Both of the singers are guys. I can't remember the whole song, but some of the parts are: "Get your grubby hands off my juice box!" "Everybody has their own flavor of juice box." In more detail, if a person is saved, or reborn in the name of our Lord and/or Jesus, does this limit a Christian to particular churchs or religions? My father was raised Catholic, my mother was raised Babtist. I spent more religious time and church outings in the Catholic mass and at their homes, we prayed as a Catholic does: In the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit, amen, while touching first forehead, heart, shoulder and shoulder, then kissing the cross around my neck. But my parents wanted me to make my own choices about my own beliefs and religious choices. As a teenager I moved to Florida and although there is many Catholic church's to attend, my new southern friends attended various church's, from Episcipalian, to Lutheran, Southern Babtist, even some Mormons and Jehovah's and the occasional Catholics. All wonderful people, including there parents, I joined a First Babtist church, was saved and eventually drifted away, only because people changed from loving what they wore then what the cermon was about. I bounced around, and although I've not found a church I'm truly comfortable with, when I pray, I still touch forehead, heart, shoulder and shoulder and kiss my cross necklace. Is this not the christian way? I truly believe in God, in Jesus name, amen. But should I commit myself to a church and stay with it. I've withered down to Sunday radio or T.V.evangialist's, also flipping though or listening to various religious stations, if it's a good mass, or service, cermon, or teaching I listen. Also, don't all these church's use the old and new testament bibles? This sounds corny, but when I'm unsure, I always hear Dolly Partons voice from the movie, Steel Magnolia's as she says"It don't matter to God which church you go to, as long as you show up!" Ok.. sigh.. how do I start I met a girl almost 3 years ago, we were in the same class in college at the time, she added me to msn, we started overnighting while she tuned in to my radio station talking for hours, it was magic, the connection, the chemistry, the intrigue. That same year in December we started going out, I invited her to a special creps after returning from a trip and we really hit it off, it was also my second kiss ever, so she's my first and has been my only love. She stood me up on christmas day and after three monthswe decided to take a break. Mainly because she stood me up on a trip I had proposed to her and she completely disappeared on me the entire weekend, she didn't answer my calls or anything. She had also become a christian and changed all her music taste, she started forbidding everything, she started closing up on me and we were discussing too much. I had also plans of meeting her family, which to this day I haven't met. 4 months went by, I never really moved on, I talked to her everyday, and after fighting for her, we finally rehooked up on my birthday, the second time was so much better, she wasn't cold anymore, she was more open, and we went 60% of the way. Things we were great, until I realized that she was still supporting her exboyfriend who lived in another country and came only once a year to our country. And.. she told me they were going to meet on christmas. Summed to other things, I had my second thoughts again, and this time I really dedicated my time to think everything through and made one final decision through a letter I gave her in person with an invitation to a special creps. So we broke up before christmas and it was the end. The following year (2009), I discovered that she was getting really close with her friend from work. It was kind of sudden and it crushed me, but I didn't do anything, I knew it was for the best if she moved on. She started text messaging me one day, we met for a concert, one thing led to another, the rain at night got us soaked wet and we ended up hugging and kissing again. We hooked up for the third time that same night, it was very romantic. Added to this, I found out in facebook that her friend was really let down by us.. apparently they had gone for a cafe and something promising was going on there until I decided go back with her. It wouldn't stop there. This year was crucial to defining a lot of things. 4 months had passed, we were in the best time of our lives, it was the first time that we went nearly all the way in bed and things were really looking up, even though I had had some options of meeting other girls I was very much in the clouds and dreaming with her. During that time I was having some problems in the family, my Mum was in the hospital and I was a bit down for that, university was also keeping me with a tight schedule. Anyway, one day, to be precise, exactly one year ago, the love of my life comes up to me through chat and she seems really cold, so I ask her and insist to tell me of what had happened and why she was confused, she tells me that she went with her friend from work, to have a hot cup of wine and talk about childhood, and on the way home late at night on the bus, he had kissed her and she answered back. I decided that it was time to move on after this, that it had been too long and it needed to stop. But after 2 days I thought about how I was going to lose everything I had done and fought for, I thought I was going to give it all away to another guy for free, so I decided to take a little revenge on the guy, so I went to visit him and I ended up giving him a precise well placed punch, mainly because he didn't respect that she was in a relationship, and second of all because he took advantage of her trust and third cause he got her drunk, I mean that's just u.u. Anyway, I got a lawsuit from this guy and the girl obviously backed him up, and she also tried to hook up with him after we met and talked things over. Sometime passed, I met another girl, we lasted only one month cause she went to live to Toronto. Ever since, the same love of my life who betrayed me looks for me, calls me, or text msgs me, and so I do special things for her, I'm there for her, I please her with supportive words, I cry in front of her, we hug, we kiss, we cuddle in bed, even watch movies, go to a park to contemplate each other, and she also invests a lot of money in me, she invites me to the nicest places, she wipes away my tears and everything. We fantasize about babies and how we have 2 kids and dog, we dream, talk about our future, sometimes about our past, then we discuss, I show her the reality, I open her eyes and I breakup with her again and again. We've been like this around 10 times now. and.. she keeps on fighting for me and I keep letting myself be seduced over and over. I am writing a song about Jesus and Mary Magdalene. I heard a song on a college/alternative radio station about the subject years ago. I can't find it now. I am writing my own Jesus and Mary Magdalene song now. What do you know about those two? In the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, Mary Magdalene talks about loving Jesus as a man but Jesus does not respond in kind and they never consummate their relationship. In the Tom Hanks stuff, there is a theory about Jesus and Mary Magdalene having a daughter and the descendants settle in France. My song talks about Jesus and Mary meeting in Jerusalem. I included the story of Mary coming to see Jesus at a rabbi's house. The rabbis ask her to leave because she is unclean. Jesus asks the priests to allow her to stay. Later on, I took poetic license. I had Jesus and Mary in love by an olive tree. It's more about romantic feelings than a sexual thing. Later the wood from the same olive tree is used for the cross that is used to crucify Jesus. I got that idea from an old folk ballad about a woman who falls in love with a murderer. They make love at night under an oak tree and he is later hanged from the same tree. When Mary tells the disciples that Jesus has risen from his grave, they do not believe her because she is a woman. The song ends with asking the listener to believe what they want about Jesus and Mary Magdalene, but that a love between two consenting adults is not wrong even if it is between the son of the Living God and a professional woman. The song musically has a country feel to it gospel influenced. I am from Boston so a Western drawl is not natural to me. I figure if the Beatles and the Rolling Stones can get away with it so can I. I am thinking of the voice as like Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Elvis of course. The guitar is sounding like Willie Nelson, Keith Richard, Ry Cooder, Duane Allman. i was listening to Klove a christian radio station and they seemed to target the books and movies saying they teach unrealistic things and the books are evil and unhealthy. While i agree that the Obsession is out of control i don't think it's fair to blame the books or movies. If the fans can't understand that this is a Fantasy and not real they don't need to be watching or reading the books. I was flipping through radio channels and stopped at a Christian station (Air 1). I don't listen to them often, so the chances of hearing this song again are nil. This has synthesized violins and cellos in the background with a techno-ish beat. Some male voices are singing 'I need you', long and drawn out, over and over. I tuned in near the end of the song so those are really all the lyrics I was able to pick out, which makes this song really hard to search. Hi there! I've been looking for this song for a while. I typed the lyrics into Google but I haven't found anything remotely close to it. I heard it on a contemporary Christian radio station. It was a male vocalist, and it was kind of punky-sounding. So I'm taking the yellow line into work, napping a bit, and we stop at Reagan. This guy gets on the train, calls out for attention, and starts singing a glorious song about our personal savior, Jesus H Christ. He wasn't the best singer, nor the worst, but shit man, its 8:35 am. SHUT THE FUCK UP! I mean, what the fuck does he think will happen? People will be listening and all of a sudden be like..."Yeah! The song has convinced me! Please noble sir, let me join your Christian denomination!" So when he finishes, I bump the guy sitting next to me and say, "Welcome to Bush's America". This gets a few laughs from SOME OF the people around me. But the blue hair sitting directly in front of me turns around, and she is not pleased. "Well, at least its not the smut we're forced to listen to everyday!" "Ma'am," I ask, "who forces you to listen to smut every day?" Because truly, if there is a fiend following her around with a boom-box playing GWAR wherever she goes, I wanted to be the first in line to kick his/her ass. After all, I'm a gentleman, and no one can force a blue hair to listen to smut on my watch! "On the radio!" she screeches, "thats all they play. Filthy songs". This confuses me.
